I think Tom Kubiak and his staff were friendly, helpful and their prices were very fair. I even brought in 2 new customers. So why am I ranking them at 1 star? Because they abandoned me when faced with the toughest part of thier job. I got audited by the Fed IRS for one of the years that he filed for me. At first Tom was very helpful during the process. As per the request of the IRS, he was the point of contact... They spoke to him and he relayed to me what they needed. All was quiet for over 2 months and I thought things were wrapping up until I got a letter in the mail stating that my accountant had broken off all contact and refused to call them back!!?! I reached out twice myself and I also could no longer reach Tom who in the past was always VERY accessible. I was forced to complete the audit on my own with no counsel. This is not the way to do business. IF you get audited this is where you need your tax people the most and I was abandoned. I can not recommend them... never again.

My taxes aren't super difficult but they are more complicated than the average persons and this day and age you sure as heck better know what you're doing and I feel confident every year knowing Spag & Spag do my taxes because I know they'll be done right. Several years ago they ran the payroll for my company when we were first starting up almost 17 years ago and they did an excellent job at that as well so they do perform other financial services other than taxes too. Staff is always friendly and accommodating every time I go in. If your in the hunt for a new accountant, you're in good hands with Spag & Spag.

They just can't seem to get any of the billing correct. My long term disability insurance in my business is paid up through January 2024 and I keep getting incorrect bills sent to me with the wrong monthly amount, then calls from staff saying payment hasn't been made then notices that I haven't made payment. I have proof of every overpayment. Next, I just received two sets of insurance cards along with two auto insurance bills. I am a busy business owner and advisor to other businesses who doesn't appreciate all of the time I'm spending trying to correct these billing errors.
