I never went thru anything like this before where I had to file a insurance claim. I called a friend who I know that went thru a similar situation and he referred me to Greg. From the phone call he was ringing my doorbell 1 hour later. 8 hours after that I had a cleanup crew From there he did the claim and within a few weeks my house was already back to normal. Don't be swayed by them, who talk a good game because the dollars are pocketed to their advantage. I'm not a complainer but how many times do you have to state issues/concerns especially when everything was so blatant and spoken of at least once. It should've been recorded and corrected without further discussions, however not in my case, so I was aggravated that issues were not taken care of in a manner which I felt comfortable with by Accela Public Adjuster. Look, I get it that they (contractors etc.) all work together to get paid. No way ever would I recommend Accela Pubic Adjusting to anyone who may be in a situation where they really need help.

It was very impressive to see how fast the wheels were turning to repair our home. Anthony took care of everything, he dealt with the insurance company and ensured that my husband and I had temporary housing. He retained the contractors, cleaners, Tech Company, movers etc. and was responsible for the entire restoration. Just returned from a six night stay here. Overall, the place was nice, but the following are some…read morethings we wish we'd known before booking. 1. Don't expect a traditional hotel stay. Their website does state that there is no concierge in the building, but we didn't realize until arriving that staying here is much more like renting a private condo than staying in a hotel. After we booked our room, we received an email asking us to let them know our arrival time, so that they could make sure to meet us, since there is no lobby or reception desk. Upon arrival were met by a woman who works onsite during normal business hours as the manager, housekeeper and everything in between. She checked us in and gave us the code to our room. She also straightened up our room each day while we were out. 2. Bring your own toiletries. They don't provide any of the toiletries you find in hotel rooms. Bring your own soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. 3. Bring earplugs. On weekdays, VERY loud construction started at 7am, literally on the other side of the wall from our room. It sounded like steel pipes were banging on the wall next to our bed. Not to mention the jackhammer that must have been right outside of our window. We know construction is common in NYC, but this was pretty bad. Also, the A/C unit (which was right behind the headboard) rattled like crazy all night. For people familiar with New York (or those who have an easy time navigating a new city without the help of a concierge) and don't need the extra amenities and comforts of a hotel, I'd definitely recommend this place. It was very clean and since they just opened a couple months ago, everything was brand new. The bed was a bit hard, but the bedding was nice and comfortable. As long as you go in knowing what you're getting, the value can't be beat.

However, one of our customers, referred us to a public adjuster, Brian Evans, of Eastern Public Property claim and Risk Management. Brian walked us through our policy and explained to us in details what is covered and how to approach the insurance company. We discovered that we were under insured and to rebuild our restaurant, we need double what our policy would pay out. Fortunately, with Brian's help, we managed to squeeze an additional 50% more from insurance; which reduces the amount by thousands of dollars to rebuild! Brian also offered to help analyze the insurance coverage for our other stores so we will not be caught under insured again - for Free. What great service!! We will use Brian and Eastern Public if something unfortunate happened to us again and we whole heartedly will recommend this company.
