Liffey has an incredible Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with an excellent team and program…read morespace. They deliberately keep the number of clients low to make sure everyone has the chance to contribute to the conversation, resulting in great group dynamics. Likewise, the program space is full of comfortable chairs, weighted blankets, fidget toys, floor seats, and whatever other sensory safety goodies you could ask for. There's a great balance of CBT/DBT theory, skills practice, creative expression, group therapy, and individual therapy (and no, you don't need to know what any of those mean, you'll learn as you go :) ). The psycho-education talks on the gastrointestinal tract, memory, sleep, and psychiatric medication are especially fascinating! If you're on the fence about whether to try Liffey or another IOP, give them a call or email, and I'm sure a few minutes of chatting with Sean, Marla, or any other member of the team will be the nudge you might be looking for, like it was for me.

All the providers are caring and genuinely want the best for you. I found their approach to blend yoga, creative expression and traditional CBT and DBT strategies a wonderful way to fully learn to process my trauma and heal. I cannot say enough about what they've done for me. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a little extra support after residential.

I've been working with Sundar for the past few months through both acupuncture and somatic therapy,…read moreand my experience has been genuinely meaningful. What I appreciate most about Sundar is his ability to look beyond just the physical symptoms. He has helped me work through both physical pain and emotional stress, while becoming much more aware of my body, my emotions, and the connection between the two. There have been things I've come to understand about myself through our sessions that I simply hadn't been aware of before. Sundar is extremely patient, attentive, and intuitive in the way he works. He asks thoughtful questions, listens without judgment, and creates an environment where I feel safe enough to be honest and comfortable enough to trust the process. That sense of safety has been an important part of my healing. He is also very skilled in his craft. Whether we are working through acupuncture or somatic practices, I feel that he is genuinely present and thoughtful about what my body needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. There is also something very uplifting about the environment he creates. His space feels peaceful, positive, and welcoming, and his own energy makes the experience feel even more supportive. I'm grateful to have found someone who approaches healing with both knowledge and compassion. Sundar has helped me not only feel better physically, but also become more connected with myself and more aware of what my body is communicating. I would genuinely recommend him to anyone looking for a thoughtful, compassionate, and holistic practitioner.

Sundar is a remarkable health practitioner and healer. I have been seeing Sundar for acupuncture…read moreconsistently for the last six - nine months or so. He is amazing. I never know what's going to happen in the appointment, well, besides the needles. Seeds on my ears? Cupping, but electronic? Massage machines that make me feel like I'm being turned into a beam of light? Electric shocks through the needle? Something brand new I've never seen before? Somehow this is all incredibly relaxing, centering, and, by the end, makes me feel like I'm just a puddle of tissue. Plus, Sundar is able to talk about and guide the holistic health experience - nutrition, sleep, stress care, and more. Run, do not walk, to Sundar.
