Cristina is so patient explaining how pottery works and encourages you to be playful with what you create. Adam is also very helpful offering any advice, together they make a great team. The attention to detail does not go unnoticed, and they make everyone feel welcomed (this is very important because I understand it can be scary/intimidating to try new things! they put any fears to ease) Luckily I had the opportunity to glaze a few of my pieces, which is worth the money! I was so pleasantly surprised how quickly my pottery was fired, considering how long the process can take from start to finish. I have been to multiple OCISLY events, but one of my favorite memories was crafting matching swan coffee mugs with my partner. It was so fun to do side-by-side while surrounded by creative energy and good vibes. We cherish these mugs and pull them out often smiling at the subtle unique imperfections that make each one beautiful. Thank you to OCISLY for an amazing memory that will last for years & years. The time said…read more7:00pm-9pm and we got here a little early and the place is closed even after waiting 20/40 minutes for someone to arrive and unlock the doors.. Drove 30 mins to a closed event basically. Called, no answer, google said they should be open, all I can assume is someone might have been late to work ? Extremely unprofessional. Hella disappointing. Very much wanted to make a terrarium. I will be sending out an email for either a refund or to reschedule. Still have hope for this place but this is extremely upsetting. 3 months later, place is a scam. My bf never got a refund from the company, nor an email. I would go to another place. Best of luck yelpers.

I belong to a Meetup group that each month plans an activity/dinner. It's been a long time since…read morethe last outing I was able to go, but last night I finally managed it. This time they selected Paint Vibes, an art studio run by a Chilean artist by the name of Felipe Lagos. The place is not the easiest to find, by the day, the building has a free parking lot, but by night you have to park on the street, no meters. There are a lot of art studios around, and the only sign is on the front glass, so it is easy to miss. As the owner explains all te artists around want to make something similar to Wynwood's galleries in Hialeah. Now, I can't say anything about any other activity done on Ar Vibes, but for what we did last night. The concept itself is pretty much the same as Painting with a twist: you can take food and drinks to the class, Lagos teaches you how to paint the selected painting, and you paint and eat and drink and talk and have fun and listen to music. We were all one small group so it was an intimate and fun night. They could probably use a few hair dryers to dry the paint a bit faster, but overall is a nice activity to do.

Val did an amazing good exampling how to chaps the clay into the object you wanted. She provides hand-on visuals and was there helping every step of the way. VAL made me from comfortable about this experience and I would do it again because of her. You cannot take your object home the same day, have to wait three to four weeks. Parking in street parking.

I enjoyed viewing all of the unique pieces of art and collections. The gallery frequently changes its artwork and exhibits. I was greeted with kindness and knowledge by the gallery team.
