She didn't cut too much off and she didn't cut too little off. She listened to all my requests and fulfilled each one to a T. She gave me good advice when I asked her questions on how to do my daughter's hair more effectively. They also do ear piercing there and have a little salon boutique where you can purchase toys, nail polish, earrings, hair accessories, etc. Overall it was a great experience. I had a discount card to use which had to be "discussed" first by the women in the shop as they seemed to unaware of the promo from Northtown Hyundai. My haircut was okay, but if you think stopping here is a really great deal, look at the price list before you decide. I was pleasantly surprised with the classy decor & friendly staff. My stylist, Amanda, was super friendly and really "got" what I was going for with my cut. Unlike previous experiences I didn't have to wait around well past my appointment time to be seen and my stylist wasn't manicly trying to work on multiple customers at once. Most importantly I love my new hair cut and color! It was also quite reasonbly priced compared to other salons I've been to in the area and definitely way cheaper than what my friend's salon was charging before she did my hair at home. I'm stingy and lazy with hair appointments - I'm generally someone who touches up their own cut and color between the three or four professional appointments I make in a year but this experience, and the proximity to my house, makes me consider getting it done professionally on a regular basis.
