Eye exams are finalized by a remote…read moredoctor, and the (separate) cost for progressive lenses is over $900, not counting the frames! I had a coupon for 50% off, but even then my bill would have been over $600. The frames I had selected were moderately priced, so I honestly thought that the technician doubled the cost instead of dividing it in half. The selection of frames is spectacular, and the staff are friendly and helpful, but I've been there 4 times in the last 5 months, and I haven't seen any of the same people twice.

I think I went to LensCrafters four Saturdays straight…read more 1st Saturday: Packed beyond belief. It resembled a can of sardines. Mali attended me and she helped me pick out a pair of glasses. I was looking at Coach and Tiffany & Co. mainly to then fall in love with a pair of Burberry glasses. Was about to place my order and my vision insurance was giving me issues. Had already been warned by work, but I decided to press my luck anyway. 2nd Saturday: I come back and I had fortunately taken photos of the Burberry glasses. Mike attended me and fortunately no issues with my vision insurance. Ordered the glasses, plus some contacts, and the optician Melissa had gotten my measurements for the glasses. All was good to go. 3rd Saturday: Got a call Thursday that my contacts had arrived, and a day or so later, received a text that my glasses arrived. Went in, saw Melissa, and got my goodies. I asked about what to do with old glasses and was made aware that you could donate them to LensCrafters who donates them to another company. Figured I'd get my remaining extra pairs and bring them another time. 4th Saturday: Intended to just come to drop off the extra pairs of glasses for donation, but my new Burberry glasses were hurting my right ear. Melissa fixed them, I went shopping at Trader Joe's, only to then come back because my left ear hurt. She fixed them again with a smile on her face and it's been weeks now since I've had to return. My new glasses are perfect - no more headaches, no more ear discomfort. Needless to say in all of this, I am one happy customer. The entire staff at LensCrafters is friendly and helpful. I've no doubt I'll continue to be a customer of theirs.
