I do not want to give this company a single star but I have to in order to post this review. ADT is the worst company for customer service that I have ever had the misfortune to be involved with. They lie, prevaricate, don't turn up and don't contact the customer when cancelling.
I had requested an engineer to repair my alarm which has been going off for no reason. The first time was at 3am (last week) and 5am (yesterday). I called to ask for an emergency repair because we are going on holiday. Why did I know that no one would turn up? Experience, I guess. We waited all day, calling every few hours. Then I got a call at 10:45 last evening saying the engineer would be there a 1AM--seriously? Is this how to treat your customers?
Today I was PROMISED a repairman between 9 and 1. At 1:15 I called and was told that the technician had cancelled because he was too busy. No one called me. If I hadn't telephoned (for the 10th time) I wouldn't have had this information. I was then promised that my case would be expedited by the supervisor and someone would come by 5pm. I don't believe this supervisor exists--this company is a complete shambles. No one has come and no one has called.
No one cares at ADT. They are running a terrible company. Do not have them install an alarm system in your home. read more
