People knew me by my first name, location was an inviting space, they almost always had free cookies available-awesome! 98% of staff were so extremely friendly and were happy to be at work. However, 4/5 because there was a very unfriendly woman who worked at this location for a period of time. I even complained about her once and asked that she not assist me when I closed my accounts. If you're new to the CR area or you're searching for a new, local bank, choose Hills!

I walked in, really wanting a good confrontational employe to give me some attitude. What I got was a nice greeting when I walked in. There was a person at a desk right at the front door. She seemed to know everyone that walked in. Turns out she was the branch manager, Annie Johnson. She took the time to address my issues, got involved and fixed the issue I was having all with a smile. Made my day that there are helpful people still in banking.

They just couldn't place it. This is ridiculous. I waited an hour after handing them a check so they could figure out where it goes. Again, not by any fault of the teller.

They are doing a thing right now where the employees pay $5 to wear jeans on Fridays, and the proceeds go to a different charity or organization, not sure if it is weekly or monthly, but I think it's nice.

I was charged over $400 in fees we should never have been charged. The person who answered the phone was super, he was only doing his job. I asked for the supervisor and had to leave a voice message after being on hold over 20 minutes. She did call back, but absolutely refused to do anything about the fees. It was a great big mess. They just refused to help. Never again.

First it was canceling my credit card due to possible fraud charges, for buying shoes online, mind you, without a phone call from them verifying it was me. Yes, no phone call, no verification, nothing, just a cancel with no warning. How did I find this out? Well, trying to buy lunch at the hospital I work at and having my 4$ cafeteria charge declined, that's how. Second it was not issuing me a new card when my previous one expired. My husband and I both had to go in and request a new card 3 times each and I still wasn't given/sent one in the mail. I guess this bank likes to hoard my money for themselves and don't want me to actually spend it, but I digress. I finally resorted to demanding one on the spot before an international trip before I finally received access to my checking account. The third issue is the most egregious. Issuing travel warnings mean nothing to this crappy bank. We had our cards declined for fraud every single day of our trip overseas. Both my husband and issued travel warnings for our checking and credit accounts, on separate occasions, at different branches, to ensure a safe trip. WTH!!! Every single day we were on the phone with this bank. We were declined 36$, yes you read that correctly, 36 dollars, whilst trying to see a monument in France, for fraud!!!! Seriously. I loathe this bank and would be an absolute idiot if I didn't switch to a competitor. I've heard all the excuses and all the I'm sorry to last a lifetime, but ultimately, they didn't care to ensure my family was safe for our trip. Bye bye Green State, I'll take my business elsewhere.
