With just $5 in my account (necessary in order to keep my auto loan), BILL PAY via Navy Federal atomically sends my loan pmt here twice monthly. Yesterday I received a Late Notice on my loan, which is impossible due to the automatic nature of my payment. After acquiring the assistance of Navy Fed personnel, I was informed that my January payment had been sent on time, but Sunstate had held onto it for many days before depositing it. Due to Sunstate's delay, I was notified that my payment was late & I would soon be charged a late fee. You can't make this stuff up! This once excellent banking establishment (that I found in 1997) is now a shell of its former self.

But this bank has provided me with so many other issues. I gave the bank a "3" rating due to the fact I like the tellers a lot- they are all really personable and friendly. But here is a list of problems I've had with them. -When I first opened up my account, they initially refused to honor my paycheck. The man working/managing the fraud department was very rude, and insinuated I was some kind of idiot who got a "fake job off of craigslist" and chuckled about how he didn't think he would honor my paycheck. -I am denied for purchases and my account gets locked for purchases I MYSELF MAKE, yet when I have fraudulent activity on my account, I get no call from fraud prevention, and I have to go through an arduous lengthy process for a refund due to a hacker. -Their ATM is almost ALWAYS broken. -The second closest bank from downtown is a 20 minute drive in a car (if you have one). -Overdrafts cost MORE with Radiant than at Bank of America. -Right now, my online banking isn't available to me, I have no idea why, I'm stressed about being potentially hacked AGAIN, and yet there is no number online for fraud prevention. Right now I don't even know if I'm being robbed because there don't seem to be any after hours workers. Do yourself a favor and go to a big bank, because when I had Bank of America if I EVER had an issue like this, it got fixed right away. I honestly suspect credit unions might be purposefully shitty in order to sway you into paying the fees at big banks.
