For each debt transaction they charge you 2.00, for every credit or signature transaction they charge you 1.00, plus to check your balance it's .50 and if you call in its .50. If you are like me that use these type of card for your everyday purchases DO NOT GET THIS CARD! I just got this card and notice I deposit 200.00 and within 2 days they took 28.00 in charges and fees. I didn't know why so I called in and they said it was the monthly plan which is $10.00 I asked well if I was charged the monthly plan why am I still being charged everytime I use the card? The customer service rep advised well I'm not sure but you can upgrade the plan next month and it will only be 5.00 and you will not get charged. I advised that didn't make sense. Why would I upgrade the plan to direct deposit when you guys haven't even fix the current problem. They took over $28.00 and the customer service rep couldn't even help with an answer to why other then to upgrade the plan. I canceled this card. It's not worth adding money or giving them your money because the service is not even that good your better off with a pre-paid visa gift card..

Just want to reiterate as it's still going on....they've costed me ridiculous negative credit…read moreratings even when paid in advance. Still never corrected the "refinanced" to help me loan with the credit bureaus instead -they CLOSED my initial account and deleted ALL previous payment info and started up again for the same initial amount and another year added!!! The fuqtards removed all my payments pre "refinancing" and didn't report any of them as paid off in good standing YEARS AGO!!!!! But they have no freaking problem blowing my phone up on a day late and fuqing my credit up more!!!!!! ZEEERRRROOOOO STARS!!!!!!!  I just saw another person with my identical issue with Lendmark Orlando in NC office. "Lendmark lied to me telling me that they would refinance my loan and it wouldn't destroy my credit but they did refinance the loan and wiped out all previous payment history that was good and on time, dropped my credit score 37 points" Well the difference with me and him is my credit was knocked down 39 points because of them!!!!    I  even paid in advance a couple times, no matter.  I've now printed what the last 18 months - as far as bank website would let me - but payments began November 2019 and they show I've only  made 7  payments since 2/4/2021!!!!!  I tried to attach my bank statments but am unable on this site even though there's a place for it.  Lendmark staff totally removed any of my refinanced loan information and never reported it as closed and in good standing and refinanced!!!!!!!!  I am beyond furious and disgusted!!!  I hope this stops others from their lies, incompetence & trickery!!!!  Run Run Run as fast and far as you can from these horrible lying predators!!!!! She looks over her shoulder to tell the notary woman that someone was in line for her. She looked like she could care less that she had a customer. Now I've been to amscot before and have anyways had great customer service. This woman Martita Rodriguez was beyond rude and kept me waiting around what felt like 10 minutes. Mind you 10 minutes is not long but when you have no one in line before you that's a long wait. She wouldn't make any eye contact with me just had me wait. Once she felt like it she walked to the window with her notary book and said $10 not hello, not good afternoon just $10. Her customer service skill need to be refreshed. Yup never going to this location .

I thought Marlin Financial was going to be helpful, but, I found out soon just how wrong i was…read more I had a car worth $13,000 and borrowed $4000 against it. I was making my payments as scheduled. On February 3rd, 2016 I was rushed to the hospital for the 2nd day in a row, this time I was in and out of conciousness. I was seeing things and people that were not real. Fever 103, infections, medications all added to it. This went on for about 7 weeks. Around the middle of February Marlin sent someone to repossess my car. My wife was flabbergasted, she explained that I was very sick and in the hospital. She wasn't handling the finances at that time and was unaware of the loan, but, pleaded explaining the situation. They did not care! By the time I was in reality enough it was about the second week of March. I called the place that took the car on a Wednesday and Thursday with the secretary saying no one was available and took my name and number. No one ever called me back. I called Friday and finally spoke with someone who said the car was sold two days ago, the first day I called. I had also called Marlins office that Wednesday and was told that there was nothing they could do, and to keep calling the repo company. Marlin did not care, they made their money and then some and had no concern that they had not spoken to me before repossessing the car. They made no effort in helping me contact their repo company. They made zero effort to contact me, the customer! I was just a number to them. They did not care! I was in 3 different hospitals for six months and my family was not always able to come to the hospital because our second car wasn't good enough to make the trips to Tampa and Brandon hospitals. I do not recommend Marlin financial unless you want to be treated like a number instead of a person.
