These people charge about 300% interest...300%. We were desparte and borrowed about $500 for twelve months at about $140 per month. That comes to about $1700 for a $500 loan. That is 293.73% APR (interest). I didn' know this was even legal.

She is now over 87 years old and when we tried to help this old lady out and try to set up a payment plan, 1st Franklin including Natalie and her "regional manager" Jimmy F (as in F YOU for trying to help this old lady) said they would ONLY accept the balance in full in ONE payment to resolve this lawsuit!? Question #1 This lady has had EXTREME hardships and is on a fixed SINGLE income now and THIS is how they treat their customers? Then question #2 is WHO gave them authority to file a lawsuit against an old lady that is over 87 years old? #3 WHY won't they allow us to TRY and help her set up a reasonable payment plan to resolve this high interest/rip off loan that they filed a lawsuit on an 87 year old lady? We left messages for this "manager" Jimmy F several times now and STILL haven't heard back from him. Next step is to find out who ABOVE Jimmy makes these decisions and ask them why. We will be cutting and pasting this complaint to EVERY office they have nationwide and then adding it to YELP, the BBB, Department of Consumer Affairs and many, many other sites if we don't hear back from somebody in UPPER UPPER management immediately. Is THIS how you would treat your own family members and/or others in the community/country? #4 HOW many other customers over 80 years old have they filed lawsuits on? I have been helping consumers with debt problems for over 30 years now. This is one of the worst companies I have EVER dealt with!!!
