Went here to sell a couple thermal imaging cameras I had for smartphones. Normally when you walk…read moreinto a pawn shop you expect to see items for sale on the floor, hanging off the wall, etc...This place was the opposite. They're extremely clean, probably the cleanest pawn shop I have ever seen. Their manager Raul was so polite and friendly! The offer made to me was very reasonable, unlike other places that only look out for the business's sake. The actual transaction took about 10 minutes but I spent another 20 there just conversing with the manager. I would recommend anyone to go visit this pawn shop. They will take care of you, and there's you don't have to worry about dealing with an employee with attitude (like EZ Pawn). Go here! Enough said!

This is a must read!!!…read more Let's start off by saying I was recommended by a good friend who owns a body shop and refers a lot of clients to Kris Title Teansfer. Just like you I purchase a vehicle and was seeking some help with transferring the title and since the vehicle has a Tennessee title I didn't want to struggle at the DMV. I reached out and requested a quote from Kris $3,050.00 I thought that was super high but since there was a few other names on the back of the title I didn't want to deal with. She reassured me it wouldn't be a problem what so ever and that she knows ppl and this is what she does. 1. First problem - She said since the vehicle is a out of state vehicle we would have to schedule an appointment with the court house to verify the vehicle is not stolen. Well I showed up to her Business on telephone Road and called her she said she had an family emergence and that I would have to take the vehicle myself to 1201 Davis st Pasadena Tx 77506. Once arriving I called her and she told me to act like I'm her employee and if anyone asked tell them I work for Kris Title Service. Let me remind you I paid $3,050.00 cash and now I'm running around acting like her employee. 2. Second problem - 3 Weeks go by and Kris calls me saying it's a no go and that my only option is a bonded title and it would cost me more money. I told her unfortunately that's not what I wanted and she told me to pass by for a refund. Next day I stopped by and she wrote me a check for $2,955.00 saying there's a fee for $95.00 for running around. At this point I just figure to cut my losses and move on. 3. Third problem - The check bounced causing chase bank charging me a fee. I tried calling and it took afew days but I was able to talk to Kris and let her know the founds didn't go thru. First her response was it's my fault or my bank missed up. Then when I sent her a screenshot she called me back on three way and they told her that she didn't have enough founds in her account that day that's why it didn't go thru. She ended up Zella it to me. But only the $2.955.00 not the full $3,050.00 or the Fee that chase charges when a check bounces. 4. Fourth problem - I took the title to a specialist who is retired from the DMV and once he reviewed it told me I only have two options 1. mechanical lean 2. Bonded title. Since Kris wrote on the back of the title by scratching out the previous owners name and hand Writing my name on top it made the problem even worse. Now I'm really screwed. I just wanted to share this information and let you know don't be fooled by the 5 Star rating. This lady is only ripping ppl off. She starts off by saying she has to go to Galveston county to transfer the title or a small town and that Harris County is way backed up and she has to many issues with them. I think she already burn her name there if you asked me. Also don't be fooled when she says she has a P.O. Box and she will get your title sent there. I will be posting pictures proving my statement !!!!
