Jess towed me with her car to the shop where I could get a mechanic on Sunday, to come and help out. They lent me tools, Chris and Jesse found the right parts for me in their store and offered to put me in touch with people who could walk me through the repair process. They had excellent customer service, and I can't believe how smooth it was to get my car fixed with their help. I have immense gratitude and I am humbled by them.

The owner told me I'd have to get new rotors and brake pads before he could give me a sticker. It was going to cost me $800 parts & labor. I said I'd take elsewhere. I took it to Nichol's Hometown Service where they checked the brakes and said they were fine. Gave me sticker and told me that rusty rotors is not a valid reason to deny an inspection sticker (rotors are made of cast iron and rust is normal). by the way, as I was leaving Madenford Springs & Auto I heard Glenn, the owner, trying the rusty rotor scam on someone else. In addition as Glenn P he's given his shop a glowing review.

I called Peddle, spoke to Francine and she helped me fill out the pink slip and answered all my questions.
