Iv never had to wait more then a couple of minutes if someone was ahead of me, and I have never had to wait if there wasnt anyone ahead of me. I was just there on Nov 13th and Michelle greeted me with a warm friendly welcome as soon as I walked in the door and took care of things for me fast and friendly. I started going to a new place because it was just up the road from where I live, they didnt treat me nice there and didnt seem to want my business either. So now I am going to Advance again. Its an hour drive round trip, its worth it. I know that for me, how Im treated can sometimes affect how my day goes, being treated nicely can make my day or being treated poorly can break my day. We went early Sunday,when they opened around 10am. We already had our tickets so we went right in…read more The sign as you walk in cracked me up. It tells you what you can & cant bring into the fair. I guess selfie sticks are so popular you have to ban them from bringing them in lol! I can understand that it is viewed as a weapon though. As you walk in theres a band playing on the left & giveaways from $4 tickets for another day, Little Debbie snacks & Chevy grocery bags, when you fill out a survey. We checked out all the exhibits from the history of the fair, information about different flowers, and composting. They had bonsai trees, a beautiful rose garden; which smelled lovely. I went just for the funnel cake. Which was $7 and the size of a plate but doughy in consistency. Bring cash because if you want to use credit card there is a minimum $10. I want to go back to go on the ferris wheel and see Cheap trick Yay!!
