This is a horrible business! We were long time customers and in 2019 we were charged $200 for our taxes and paid in full at the time we sign them as usual because they obviously wouldn't send them in for us until we paid and then they called back 5 months later and said that we never paid and want $200 more from us. I talked to Tanya their receptionist and she was loud and rude and had no idea what she was talking about. They are very unprofessional and have a slow turn around time. I wouldn't waste my time or money with this terrible business!! No Shanyn this was in February before COVID ever started. We went in person and signed and paid in person with a check. It wasn't until 5 months later you called and said we never paid. Because of that call I went somewhere else last year. There is no remaining balance but you still won't give me a copy of the taxes I paid you $200 to do. After 10 years with you, I was called a liar and treated like crap on the phone. I would rather give the IRS $43 for a copy and take my business elsewhere. read more

Shanyn is outstanding at what she does. I've never had an issue with her work performed for myself and my 3 businesses. Shes timely, compassionate and professional, not to mention one of the most knowledgeable agents Ive ever worked with. It's shocking some of the reviews I'm reading on here. I've personally been with Shanyn for 15 years and I know she has hundreds of clients completely grateful for her expertise and work. This place gets 0/5 stars. Like one of the other reviews, my family had been going to Shanyn for years. The last two years her front office worker Illyce has been nothing but rude to me. They then tried to threaten me so I would not share my experience. And of course, Shanyn places the BLAME on each client (it's a pattern with her reviews) and takes zero accountability-- she is unable to hear constructive criticism and refuses to believe her employees do anything wrong. This place has KARENS written all over it. I would not recommend anyone coming here. This business is a failure when it comes to customer service, personality, and kindness. If you aren't happy with your services or experiences , expect her to blame you and try to attack you for your truth. She's an overzealous woman trying to push an agenda that she's a wholesome mother and started her business from the ground up... when in fact, her business has a less than satisfactory moral code of conduct. I will NEVER go back!!! For starters, she (Shanyn) screwed up from the beginning, I had moved and given her written AND verbal corrections to my address that she had put on my tax return but apparently two notifications are not clear enough because she STILL filed it under he incorrect address. Not a big deal because when e-filing, it is a rather simple fix right? WRONG, because although I told her to e file and request direct deposit, she marked me down for a paper check to be sent to MY OLD ADDRESS. So, now I had over two thousand dollars just floating around in the city mail somewhere I hopes that my "mail forwarding request" would intercept it in time to claim my funds before someone else did. Next, it took me until the end of March to get my check finally in the mail. Now at that point,I thought my problems with this woman and her careless actions were over. WRONG AGAIN, now TWO YEARS LATER ... I received a notice from the IRS stating that I owe over 1500 dollars in taxes because she put the wrong amount in one box. I am disgusted and LIVID. I hope I can save at least one person from this mindless "professional." read more
