I was in need of a new primary care physician, so I ended up here on a recommendation of a friend. My first appointment with the primary care physician, I found out that they had a cardiologist next door. So, I switched cardiologists. One building with two different services. Very convenient for sure! After three visits, the doctor found out my heart was working properly. My blood pressure was being controlled by three different medications. I mostly like that Dr. Chander only sees patients in one office. The staff is friendly and helpful as well.

What I actually wanted were solutions to what we could do to aid me with natural means, lifestyle changes, and nutrients. I was doing all the right things and I became fairly educated on how blood pressure works. It did not mean that I was 100% correct but I took my personal care very seriously. A lot of patience don't listen or make any effort to change things to improve their heart issues. In the past, I have dealt with an unhealthy looking cardiologist as well as condescending ones. I did some research in Las Vegas and initially I was reluctant to go to another cardiologist because of my previous history with them. This practice had a fairly long wait for some of their on staff cardiologists, I was given the option of a practicing nurse with thorough cardiology experience. I actually was not reluctant because I had good experience with practicing nurses before. Jessica was absolutely professional and listened to me and we reviewed my history together. That day they did an EKG and everything was good with that. My next visit will be an ultrasound as well as bloodwork. So far, I have been happy, but I am cautious because of my history.

I had my first pcp for 2 years (Chandler) and he was kind, responsive and did a good job managing my medications. I was sad to find out after a cancelled appointment without notice this last February that he left the practice "I now know why". The office failed to notify me and when I tried to schedule with a new doctor there they made me pay an extra $80 on top of my co-pay because I'm now a "New Paitient" I was finally able to have my first appointment with Callie Collins who was also noice and professional. A few days after this appointment I inquired about getting a referral for a procedure that had been briefly discussed already with my primary and they insisted I had to schedule another appointment "Money Grab"... the office staff was not only hard to get ahold of but were extremely rude to me when I explained the protocol for the doctor I was asking to be referred to. The office staff has very little in the way of medical knowledge, policy or procedure but we were able to get the referral done without an extra appointment. Fast forward to 07/01/2025 I tried to schedule an appointment with Quest for routine bloodwork that Callie Collins said she was going to order and it wasn't available. I tried all day and left messages with Healor about sending my bloodwork and they informed me that I was no longer a patient... horribly confused I tried calling and they ignored my calls but texted me that they sent me my medical records back on 04/28/2025 as if that was the indicator for discharging me as a patient. Those records were requested by me so I had hard copy's to go over with another specialist. There was zero communication between us in writing or verbal to indicate leaving the care of my pcp. After several attempts to figure out what's going on I recieved a text back from them that they discharged me for being rude. I texted back, That was not true and there is zero evidence of such events occurring. I am certain they made an error or misunderstood something "maybe me requesting my records" as me electing to leave which was not the case. In either case Healor failed to notify of cancellation or being discharged from their care. Fortunately I have maintained all communication records since the first incident of them not notifying me of my doctor leaving or cancellation. I have filed a complaint with the Nevada board and have since retained an attorney. An apology would go a long way in situations like this but they refuse to take accountability or any effort to rectify the issue in a professional manner. I am curious how many other patients of this facility have fallen victim to patient abandonment as this could end up as a class action suit. I've already had a few people I know tell me that they too have had this happen with them and have since found care elsewhere. I even went in and personally left a message for the doctor that was written down by the receptionist because I was having such a hard time getting my prescription and there was still no follow-up. I ended up getting my prescription filled by another clinic. There was no contact with my doctor or LVHA until my next appointment and needless to say, I was pretty bitter. It felt like a money grab to me. Like patients are no longer important after the check clears for their appointment. Las Vegas Heart Associates and Las Vegas healthcare, in general, needs an overhaul.

The doctor spoke with me and said she'd send it. Months later now they're saying I have to come back for a "follow up" before I can get the medication. They have zero explanation as to why I need a follow up or what they'll even do there during the "follow up". I called and asked to speak to a manager or the physician who saw me and they refused. Waste of time and huge waste of money.
