Off the main lobby is a Spot coffee which is well staffed; the cafeteria has a very good reputation for fresh and healthy food. The two soups are made daily; there's a pizza bar, two salad bars, a grill, and sandwiches made to order. After hours, there's a refrigerator for grab-and-go selections.

Fun fact: This hospital-based hotel is the template for Ronald McDonald houses. It was done first in Buffalo. The houses (now plural) are located half a block from both Buffalo General Hospital and Oishi Children's Hospital. Families can stay with their loved one if living at a distance from Buffalo, as my friend did while undergoing chemotherapy. All houses are fully ADA; staff and volunteers are very kind.

I was a patient with this clinic for a year. Care was in my home due to health problems. Nurses…read morecome about every 2 to 3 months, unless there's an emergency. Whenever they were here, I felt invisible, especially under the care of the now owner, Corey Eagan, who was with me less than half of the year. She played on her tablet for nearly the entire hour, got up to touch me once.. lightly putting her hand around my right ankle, not even telling me why, then sat back down without comment. We had a short conversation about one of my many prescriptions. I had questioned about some confusion, then she commented that I just needed to pay attention to my meds so as not to be confused. Well, that is why I asked for help with an explanation. I guess patients are supposed to be seen, not heard. All providers, especially Corey, made me feel like they were rushing to finish and couldn't wait to leave. They never asked if I had questions. I didn't feel valued or respected. I had some more serious health issues in the spring and summer of 2025..... toward the end of my year with them. As my health issues got worse, Mobile Primary seemed to become more scarce. Since I could not locate another service that would come to my home, I was stuck with them. Then, suddenly, in October, as my health issues were getting worse, I called one day and off handedly someone said, "Oh, by the way, Mobile will no longer be your provider after a the end of the month. Stunned, I asked why. They responded, "You're no longer home bound. " I said, "What are you talking about? I don't drive, and only go to dr. appointments. I only went to my grandson's birthday party for 2 hours recently." "Well you shouldn't be serviced if you can go to your grandson's party," was the response. And after refusing to put me on the phone with my provider, Corey Eagan, the person said, "You'll be receiving a certified letter in the mail. We will fill your prescriptions for 30 days, so you need to find a new provider. " Trust me. This was all out of left field...I had no idea it was coming and didn't understand why. It was very traumatic at the time, but now that I'm away from that place, I thank God that I no longer see them since I was receiving such incompetent care. Do yourself a favor and walk... no.. run... from them. Very frightening if this is an example of the state of our health care system.
