But, since I'm not a teen athlete playing for the Lakers it seems my reports of pain were insignificant and I must be making them up, although the therapists I have seen elsewhere since have improved my situation dramatically. My biggest complaint is regarding the end of my treatment with them. I was evaluated by the therapist unexpectedly, was told little afterwards other than it would be sent to my doctor. After that visit, I heard nothing so I called the office and left multiple messages inquiring about whether I would have any additional appointments set. I received no return phone calls whatsoever. Obviously only certain patients get preferred treatment through this provider and I was not one of them. Since seeing another provider, I learned that based on the lack of looking into a physical reason for my problem and addressing that from the outset, I was obviously just given "general physical therapy" which could be part of the reason I have recently been diagnosed with chronic pain. Whether that is the case or not is not really the issue, although it makes me concerned for others, the reason for my negative review is the lack of respect I was shown. DO NOT TREAT HERE UNLESS YOU ARE A LAKER ATHLETE if you want to be treated with the respect you deserve.
