I say "Advanced Lapping" day, because I have been through the other courses offered at Fast Lane and obviously keep returning. I have been to other Racing Schools this year and I have to say 3 things that really make your school stand out as being a superior school. 1) Track Time: What a great amount of time spent on the track. I can't tell you how pleased I was with your track time management. We as customers want to drive and learn from hands on experience, so we need to be on the track and not tied up in a classroom for hours. 2) Instructors: Your instructors were pleasant and offered up detailed instruction in order to improve as a driver and decrease lap times with accurate feedback. 3) Follow up: Most schools never follow up after finishing the program. My son had to wait 3 1/2 weeks from the day he passed his permit test (he called right away) to the day he could schedule his first behind the wheel instruction. Other driving schools come pick you up...from home, school where ever, but you have to be taken to Driller's for your behind the wheel instruction. I also bought the driver's ed and behind the wheel as a "deal" on line. It said the original price was $399 and I only had to pay $199.50. Then there were certificate fees of $50 that I was hit with when we got to class. Ha Ha! Their regular student price is $259.00 Big savings of $ 9.50 not $199!!! Deceptive advertising in my opinion. When I bought the voucher, it said it was good for the online drivers ed instead of the classroom, if we wanted, but when we chose that, it was going to cost more money. Therefore, we opted for the classroom instead of the online instruction. That was not stated on the voucher. There was no stipulation that there would be an extra fee for the on line instruction. On the good side, my son did pass the permit test. I'm not sure we will continue with the drivers training. We might pay and go to another company. They know I am unhappy and I don't want to put my son in an uncomfortable situation.
