Steve and Raul are fantastic instructors. I've been riding for many years and took the class with my (new rider) son. I learned things that I wish I would have known starting out and I'm very glad my son knows those skills right off the bat. Make's dad feel more comfortable...:) The instructors are the perfect mix of professionalism with some humor mixed in. They make it fun, but they also take their responsibility to keep us safe very seriously. Solid course and instructors. All the Instructors want to see all their student succeed. If you don't understand the instructions, they're more than happy to go over it with you again. If you're struggling on a certain skill set, they'll also pull you aside and help you. They even went over and beyond and provided us ice cold water and gatorade ice pop for hydration in this hot weather. But overall, be punctual and do what the instructors teaches you to do, you'll be fine. P.S. sorry about leaving my trash behind and thank you again for the awesome two day course. read more

As a preface, I have been riding street/sport bikes and enduro dual sport bikes for 19 years. I have been to many formal schools/classes with Reg Pridmore's Let's Ride and Brian's So Cal supermoto school as well. I enrolled my 16 year old son into this CMSP (formally MSF) to get him his endorsement for his journey to a M1 motorcycle license. This outfit has the triangle of success. At the apex, Brandy, office manager, was always helpful on the phone, but her grace and patience with all my questions sets her apart from others over the phone. Customer service is her strength. I attended both Sat/Sun classes with instructors Steve and Raul. They build the solid foundation of the triangle with professionalism mixed with playful sarcastic humor. I my opinion, this creates an environment for open dialog/questions and chill engagements with the students. They both show true concerns in getting knowledge and skills across to their students without intimidation. Pro tip... pick one of their smaller bikes eg. Kawaski Z125 to master the final day test. Overall, great efficient experience to get a M1 license with training, and passing the driven part of the DMV licensure. read more

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY before you waste your money, especially if you are beginner or have never riden a bike before.I signed up for a beginner's course to learn to ride a motorcycle. On the company's website it is advertised as a beginner's course and the purpose is to teach individuals how to ride a motorcycle. I have never been on a motorcycle a day in my life so I chose this course specifically because it was advertised as a beginners course and that patience and grace would be shown with beginners. This was not the case at all. Every student that was there was there on technicality and to complete the course because of some obligation ( becoming a licensed motorcycle operater) the instructors have zero patience for individuals who have never been on a motorcycle. I was told on the start of day 2 that if I continued to make mistakes I would be kicked out of class. Keep in mind we were 45 minutes into the day and on exercise one. I was told after the first exercise of the day that if I continued to make mistakes then I would be kicked out of the class. In my opinion, the instructors do not want to be bothered with actually teaching, they want to observe and put somewhat experienced riders through basic tests.I was made to feel bad, stupid, inadequate and quite frankly not capable of learning. After being threatened with being kicked out of the class I got into my head and was not able to perform the second exercise, I then asked one instructor if I could dismount and step to the side where the shaded seated area is just to take a minute to gather myself and my thoughts, I was then told if I do that I will not be able to come back and join the class. At this point my thought was, what's the point?! I am trying to learn and I am being punished for making mistakes while learning. This business should not be allowed to false advertise. I strongly advise if you are a true beginner ( have never been on a bike or know nothing about bikes) do not take this class. They want to take your money and that's it. read more

I just finished the course and had a great experience. The instructors provided feedback and helped riders work through issues. Sometimes it was hard to hear instructions because of traffic on the road and at the airport but the instructors were willing to answer clarifying questions or repeat themselves when asked. read more

I came to the weekend motorcycle training with almost zero experience and I was really nervous but Raul and Steve made everyone feel very comfortable. They worked well together and kept a really nice pace throughout the day. They were serious about the training but kept a fun atmosphere. I was able to learn to safely operate one of their motorcycles and to feel fairly comfortable by the end of the weekend. I was so nervous about the test portion that I failed but I'm really glad I failed. I definitely didn't feel ready at all to be out on my own on the street yet. I need way more practice. I am glad that they didn't just pass me because I paid the money, they do really want to train safe and knowledgeable drivers and it shows. The only negative part of my experience was that I did not like the bike I rode at all, I was really uncomfortable with it. My son's dirt bike is way more comfortable and easier to shift than the school's bike. I had trouble shifting it the whole time, and the height and seat were so uncomfortable. I really wish they had more of a variety of bikes to try, or definitely bring your own bike which I plan to do for my retest. Overall this was well worth the money for what I was looking for. I was skeptical of going because I was, reading some of these bad reviews and they could not be further from the truth. The class is great ( guessing bad reviews are from people who failed) Instructors David and Steven were great. Definitely recommend taking the course every six months or a year to refresh memory. read more

The trainers were great. Very helpful and knowledgeable. 5 stars for sure. The office on the other hand were greedy dicks. My wife was in a accident the night before our class. She had a broken nose, a broken wrist and her body was sore and bruised. After explaining this to the receptionist, she said she'd talk to the owner." Well, after a few days, i called back, and the receptionist told me that they were still going to make me pay all of the fees again if my wife wanted to do the class at a later date. Jeff and David were my instructors. The amount of work these guys put into helping us get into the world of motorcycling in a safe way is astounding! Jeff went through two classes back to back in the range one from 6:30am to 11:30 am then another class from 12:00pm to 5:30pm and after that a 6-10pm Class. That is not counting prep hours. To put in all them hours and keep a cool attitude and make this fun was very much appreciated. I enjoyed my time there and passed. Can't thank you guys enough. Extremely money hungry business. I signed up for their beginner 2 day class on the second day i was involved in an accident literally on my way to the course and was about 45 minutes late to class. i called the office after the accident and even left a voicemail explaining what had happened since this all happened before their office opened. none the less, i still showed up, again only being about 45 minutes late and after seeing pictures of the accident the instructor called the office and got clearance to have me re-attend the class the following day and reassured me that i could take the day off to clear my mind. about an hour later, I receive a phone call from their office and basically going back on what i was originally told and they said that i have to pay an additional $250 on top of the $350 to resignup since i "violated their attendance policy". As someone who runs a business, i understand the importance of following cancellation policies but also as someone who runs a business, i understand that things happen that are out of my clients control, especially when a simple fix is available. on top of that, the lady on the phone said if i had paperwork to prove i was in an accident i "would have gotten me a discount on the resign up process" ... as i said, EXTREMELY MONEY HUNGRY AND WEIRD. I would not recommend this place to my family nor friends, id definitely go with a business that values people over profits because this place is just not that. read more
