That was bad enough on a Saturday afternoon, but one employee told me that the store had just cut everyone's hours and wasn't staffing nearly to normal levels. We just had enormous flooding in our area in the last week and there were several hundred customers in the store. So on a Saturday afternoon, and in an area where thousands of people have flood damage to fix, the store management cuts hours and staff. Talk about the absolute worst strategic decision that could be made. Horrible management on the part of the store. It took over 40 minutes to get the one person with a forklift to get around to me. 40 minutes! The store management desperately needs to be changed with decisions like they're making with respect to staffing. Home Depot will never be able to compete with Menards due to issues like this.
