They offered me a new unit for several hundred dollars, plus installation labor cost. I called an Overhead Door location in a large Texas metro area, and they told me my brand of garage door openers had a lifetime warranty! They gave me a toll free number to call, which I did, and my lifetime warranty replacement chain arrived in about a week! This San Angelo location of Overhead Door is either incompetent or just out to screw customers with purchases & replacement work that is not needed! When I complained to them by phone, they agreed with me that I should use Concho Valley Door next time I need garage door help!
