My own dentist is brilliant (Mr Nugent) and he helped me overcome my fear of dentists don't know what I'd do if he left though! Not only are they still NHS, but they also offer a very professional range of cosmetic dentistry at realistic prices and 0% loans, if you so wish. All in all, a great practice.

This is a dental set up comprising of a few dental surgeons , hygienists and dentists…read more The place is situated near the chatham railway station and has a bus-stop close to it too hence well located from public's point of veiw(in case one can't drive after having the mediicines)..otherwise it can be a bit of a pain finding parking places nearby , you would have to be dropped off. The receptionists are efficient and I was made to fill up a form with my details when I first visited the set-up( nothing too difficult there). waiting times for next appointment can be very long(upto 6-8 months ) but I am sure it would be shorter if an emergency comes up. I have never found the hygienists very convincing or good in their workalso the stairs are very steep it being housed in an old building.

It was with some fear that I went along after suffering with toothache for a week. Two fillings later and I can honestly say that it was almost pleasant (as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be). First off, I didn't feel as though I was being lectured by the staff or told off for having neglected my teeth for a few years. The injection prior to the fillings didn't leave me clinging to the ceiling and I was charged a lot less than I was expecting. They are taking on new NHS patients now, one of the few places that are (three years ago the closest NHS dentist I could find was in Poplar, east London) so if you need a dentist, you could do a lot worse than this practice.
