DH Construction used an industrial grinder to remove travertine tile in our home and failed to…read moreprotect--per industry standard and common sense--the rooms where NO work was to be done, resulting in significant but avoidable damage to electronics, ceiling fans, clothing, and food items. These rooms and their contents could have been protected, and the damage avoided, had DH hung 4'x9' sheets of plastic over the doorways of the rooms before grinding. However, as a result of DH's negligence, dust now hides in every crack and crevice of our house and personal belongings and is stirred up each time the HVAC system kicks on. Despite promises to the contrary, DH's cleanup efforts were woefully inadequate. Dust is INSIDE ceiling fans, appliances, and electronics. And DH's cleaning team declined to clean windows, blinds, and other dust-covered areas. The team's supervisor opined that we would be living with the dust for months if not years. As part of the same project, DH was to replace water-damaged, hardwood hickory flooring in our dining room. In the garage, we had a product box of remnants from previous installations; the exact flooring is also installed in two other rooms. Despite photographing the product information and taking sample pieces, DH delivered and installed similar but inferior flooring. DH claimed it was the best match. The new floor looked cheap and didn't match that in the other rooms. Using the product information on the box in the garage, I did an internet search. In five minutes, I found the exact flooring at two retailers in our immediate area. DH's error added weeks to our project's completion date. During their hire, DH sought to convince us that they are the ones called to clean up the mistakes of other companies. For your next project, we suggest you find a company that cleans up after DH--one that will treat your home and its contents as they would their own and that works to a higher standard--and hire them.

She didn't come with all her supplies and didn't seem to want to do much of anything, so we eliminated several rooms and tasks, which in hindsight I was grateful for because the work was just ok. After 2 hours, she announced she was leaving early because she had personal things to take care of, which explained why she was rushing and looked at me funny when I listed out things I needed cleaned, but she would give us a discount for 2.5 hours of work. Hm. That's weird math but at this point I was done too. She charges by the hour and you have to point out every little thing that needs to be done, which isn't efficient when I needed a full house done. They aren't the best value either. She's a team of one for $60/hr. You can do the math. She mentioned she cleaned Airbnbs previously which made sense. Cleaning a short term rental where people stayed a couple days is really different than a house with 2 people and 2 big dogs who live there 24/7. They're more of a tidying up service than a cleaning service in my opinion.

Yelp doesn't recommend reviews when they have reason to believe the reviews are ported by someone paid by the business. But in this case, this man doesn't even have a listened and this a crime in the state of Nevada! I cannot be more disappointed with the way ay my bathroom looks and the money I wasted. I'm not even convinced that if I shower in it, it won't leak everywhere and have water damage. He didn't even bother to properly waterproof my shower with RedGard around the seams, did not put thin set over the entire back of tiles and do not cover the seams of the concrete wall with thinset. One of the tiles installed is cracked. See pictures. The framing around the edges sticks out past the tile. The niche is all uneven and I had to ask him to uninstall two tiles that had already cured in the wall because he installed in the wrong direction. The list goes on. I will update my review with more detail pictures.
