The extra room attached to my garage had some water damage caused to the drywall due to a water leak on the roof. I had a company come out and remove the damaged drywall and inspect if there were any further damages. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was also given a referral to a different company to complete the drywall repair along with the texturing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] That company came out and gave me an estimate which seemed extremely high for a small area of work that needed to be fixed. The area that was damaged was one whole side of a wall along with less than half of the ceiling. I wanted a second option so I reached out to CR Drywall. Samuel, the owner answered immediately and came out the very next day to provide an estimate which was HALF the cost of the estimate provided by the other company. He and his son had the job done within a week. Samuel and his son are very polite and professional. They showed up on time, are great with communication and did a fantastic job with my drywall repair and texturing. I had a long crack in my ceiling in the family room. The house we moved into a year ago had 1/3 of the garage drywalled from the ceiling and walls. The rest was open beams with roll insulation stuffed in between which made the garage look like it was small and dark. We have wanted it finished for a while and finally pulled the trigger. We decided to go with CR Drywall and it was the best decision we made regarding home improvement so far. Samuel showed up at the agreed time and he was always in contact with us up to the start of the job. On the day of the job, he text me to let me know they were a few minutes away so we could move our cars out of the garage. We used CR Drywall to demolish our old, vinyl wood walls and replace them with smooth drywall at our home in Tahoe City. Originally, we were told by a different contractor this would take months to complete. This would have delayed us being able to move in (and we have a baby, which would have been a huge hassle!) But then we, luckily, found CR Drywall. Samuel, the owner of CR drywall, was able to do the job in a little over a week. He provided a very fair price, with incredible transparency. I highly recommend this company. My project was a relatively small leak from the unit above onto the master bedroom ceiling. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I contacted Samuel, the dehumidification process was already completed and the next step was repair.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The repair work included replacing the insulation, gypsum board, and drywall; texturizing and painting the ceiling to match existing. His work, his crew's work was superb. It's not enough that he runs a tight ship all around, he's also very competent, courteous and keeps you posted on ETAs.
