Great News about my glasses. They had called me in to see if we could resolve the issues I had been having with my shorter distance vision needs. Ms. Kim took a bunch of additional measurements and we sent the glasses off to the lens shop again. About two weeks later, the glasses are in and all is right with the world. Distance (driving) seems even better, watching the big screen TV across the room is great, cell phone, computer and reading is awesome. It may have taken a while but their patience and effort got me happy again, I can see. I cannot thank them enough for their care and understanding. read more

This place is like a pushy used car lot. I am in my mid 40s and new to the eyeglasses game. I have excellent insurance, both vision and health. Personnel at advanced eye care in picayune took advantage of my ignorance the first time, shame on me. The second time they attempted to charge me a copay in direct contravention with my insurance policy. Further, their website leaves a lot to be desired, doesn't sync with my prescription information, and doesn't store historical prescription information. Lastly, they wanted to charge me to tell me my previously paid for pupillary distance information. My family and I will never go back there and hope others are aware how badly this business treats its customers. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service. I've been a patient for 5yrs and my daughter for the last 2yrs. Customer service has been an issue since becoming a patient. Today was the tipping point. The front office staff was rude and unprofessional. The back staff is extremely pushing. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

We have been using Advanced Eyecare for a few years and have always had excellent service. Dr. Barry and his staff have always been professional, friendly and very thorough with the exams. If we were not moving out of state, we would continue seeing them. read more

Returned for my 1 week check up after getting contact lenses. Again at check in they told me I hadn't my deductible yet and had a $115 co-pay. Told them to check again since I had other Dr's visits after my initial visit. After some back and forth the lady said she would check again, lol and behold my co-pay turned out to be $20. I don't know how they verify insurance but it's rediculous when you have to point out that my deductibles are met. read more

brought my 4 year old son for an eye exam today as a new client. The assistant was incredibly rude and horrible to us. my son was not immediately answering her because he is 4...shy... quiet around strangers..she made no attempt to greet us or speak to him before she started scolding and hurling insults..she asked me if he had a "medical condition " as if there was something wrong with him when he didn't jump and answer her after 2 seconds ..she was so incredibly hostile and rude that we walked out not even 8 minutes into the exam. my phone was on and made a ding. she literally took it out of my hand and turned it off. Is that weird? I would never take a child here or recommend this place to anyone because of her. Totally rude and unprofessional! i am literally in shock! read more

Been dealing with Dr. Stasney for years. No problems with him but staff leaves a lot to be desired. Bought glasses recently, wore them for a month and continually suffered from severe vertigo to the point of making me vomit. Switched back to my old glasses for three weeks and no problems. Took glasses back and after being ignored by staff member behind the counter was finally asked what I wanted. Explained situation to her and she took glasses back to check for defect. Sure enough she said the glasses were defective! Why aren't products checked before giving them to customers? I was told they would replace the lenses at no charge. When I asked to be compensated for all the trouble and illness I went through she summoned the "manager" who basically called me a liar and asked me to prove that I had experienced vertigo. He refused to compensate me in any way. I cancelled my followup appointment and will not use Advance Eyecare in the future. Tom A. read more

Dropped off my eyeglasses to get new lenses put in them. Was called 40 minutes later and was told that "the frames might break if they remove the lenses". So I went back got a refund and took my business else where. Where I took them to was able to fix them, and I was told that the people that work here are lazy. I should have known when I walked in the door with one receptionist on the phone and 3 employees sitting around doing nothing. When the receptionist got off the phone she asked for someone to pick up the line. No one answered her. She yelled it again louder. Still the three employees directly in front of her ignored her. So finally she said "when one of you is free can you please pick up the phone". Then one women yells back with attitude that they are free, and what did she want them to do. I should add that this whole time no one greeted me, asked me if I needed help, and acknowledged me in anyway. Just don't go here. No one is nice. read more

Our whole family loves Dr. Stasney and his team. They are very thorough and everyone has always been extremely kind and helpful.

I went to Advanced Eyecare today with my son. Dr . Stasney was wonderful . He checked my sons eyes very thoroughly. There staff let him go pick out his glasses and they did a wonderful job helping him. They have a wonderful selection of glasses for your children. The staff was very nice. Thank you all ! read more

My family and I have been patients for many years and have always received the best care from Dr. Stasney and his staff. Everyone is friendly and professional from the time you are greeted upon arrival to checking out when leaving. Exams are thorough, and Dr. Stasney has been careful to monitor the health of my eyes in regards to rheumatoid arthritis as it can affect every organ, not just joints. Sufficient time and thoughtful attention is given to the selection of the right frames, and extra patience was given to a first-time contact wearer as he learned to put in and take out the lenses under their watchful care. I had a great experience for my eye exam! We ordered my designer Vera Bradley glasses with a Crizal prevencia coating on my lenses and I'm not sure how I did without it! The staff was very helpful and welcoming! I wouldn't go anywhere else! read more
