I was recently visiting Bismarck from Grand Forks and when I went to leave town I discovered a very bad coolant leak. I called around town and not many shops could work on diesels (2005 Duramax), or if they could they were booked out a week and up. I got in touch with Advanced Fleet and they said they were also booked out but understood my situation and they were willing to at least diagnose the issue if they had time that day. I arrived and they shuffled vehicles around and got the truck on a lift, pin pointed it was the water pump. They were booked out a good bit as well to do the work, but they moved appointments around and got me an appointment a few days later. Which no one else in town could do. These guys knocked out my water pump with zero issues and even allowed me to use military discount (as I'm active duty). I was also provided a shuttle service to and from the shop. Can't stress it enough how much they helped me out when I was in a tough spot. Great service all around from everyone there. Thanks again. read more

Traveling back to TN through ND in our RV the DEF check light came on indicating we had 10 starts remaining which meant every time we stopped & started the engine the # of starts counted down. If it reached 0 we would be stranded. After phoning a Mercedes Dealer in Fargo & were told they were slammed & couldn't work us in, we started searching the Bismarck area. To our great fortune we talked to Advanced Fleet Services. We were told if we could be there at 7:00am the next morning they would see what they could do. They even said we could overnight in their lot which we did. Mike Goff, front manager, was able to get someone to work on it right away. After 2 hrs - rv was repaired & on our way. Oil change customer for over 10 years. Had first issue with car heating on girlfriends car and she had 2 oil changes done there back to back and everything got checked off including the cabin filter. Went to the Nissan dealer and he went right out and changed the cabin filter. Problem fixed. Daughters car went in for oil change and it had been there the last few time and the drain plug got stripped. Oil pan part was not bad but labor was. Figured with loyalty and other people I sent their way and the other filter issue I had I might get a discount on the labor. Took off $100 and was kinda OK with that, but they found some other issues and charged me for fixing them without asking me and surprise it equaled the $100. read more

Awesome customer service, and caring mechanics. I'm bringing my jeep back in a couple days when my parts arrive. I'm giving 5 stars because I got to use my jeep even after some work was done and payday wasn't until a couple days away. They said when we call you to bring it back in then bring the money. These guys are awesome. We started having trouble with our motor home in James Town. They sent us on to an RV dealership in Bismarck that sent us here. It was after hours but they answered the phone. Had us park there over night and got us right in at 7. Knowledgeable, friendly and went way beyond our expectations. Had a mechanic look it over, drive it and put the computer on it. They found no issues and didn't charge us. We wish they were closer, they would have all our service business. Bismarck is blessed. read more

I chose this repair shop based on all prior 5 starts, but the company does not keep its reputation as "usual". I dropped my broken vehicle at the repair shop for diagnosis and reminded them, "please do not replace any parts in my car without my authorization". However, due to certain technical issues, they could not figure out the problem of my car, except a damaged crankshaft position sensor. So they replaced it without notifying me, but my car still does not work. Finally, he asked me to take back my car and charged me $300 for part and labor. I refused to pay for the labor because they did not help me at all. However, the manager said, "they spent 6 hours to find the damaged sensor and replaced it, but they only charged me 2 hours labor". Thank you for your wonderful gift, I "appreciate" for your kindness. I made the payment and asked the manager to sign and date the performance sheet. But he just put his initials on it. If you have the same situation as I had, please pay the bill and ask manager to sign and date. Even if you feel cheated, you should not pay with a check so you can regain possession of your car and then stop payment on the check. You can file a complaint with your local customer protection office and/or file a small claims court law suit against the company.
