These guys did a great job for us. The transmission on our Honda van blew out on a weekend ... they made the time to assess the status after 5pm on Saturday (so we knew to get the process started at sourcing a new transmission before the weekend was through). They didn't push us to get the work done with them, and were open and transparent about what it would cost, et cetera. Even were willing to provide some positive reviews of the Honda dealership, since I had asked about them. That's a good sign for a mechanic to be willing to recommend alternatives. Eventually we did get them to do the work, and we did it all remotely (since we were then home, not in Bismark any longer). They were quick, and extremely helpful. They delviered on time, and alerted me to some other issues that they suggested I get fixed before long (without asking to do the work). All things considered, I'd definitely go back to Maas if I was looking for a mechanic in Bismark. read more

Don't accept insurance company requests for service, send updates that you're coming, hang up on the insurance company, and then over an hour later, say that you aren't going to take the call. We were stranded on the side of I 94 in extreme heat for over two hours thanks to your non-response.. Would post negative stats if that was possible. read more

WARNING----DON'T EVER USE THS PLACE!!! If I could leave 0 stars I would!!!!! Our vehicle broke down and we called our insurance company who put in a request for a tow. We continued to call and they were always "20 minutes away and in route." Lies!!! After 4 hours, a different tow company came to our rescue because these guys never showed up. They continued to say they were "in route, 18 miles away, 30 minutes out, and will arrive in 5 minutes." Fuck this place. I bought a MINT 98 BMW Z3 with 14k miles on it and drove it there from Tioga to have the tires replaced, oil changed, and have it looked over. They Put the tires on (which I had bought and had delivered to the shop) and didn't put new valve stems on so they blew out the next year on my way to the local tire shop when I realized why my tires kept going flat. 1/4 mile drive... I also had an oil change kit in the trunk from FCP EURO with good oil and filter and asked them to use it and they used shop oil and filter. There was literally no point in me driving 7 hours round trip to try and get my car serviced by a good Euro shop when I got better service from a Local tire shop and I can do my own oil changes and inspections. Complete waste of money. I did find an unmolested Saiga .223 at the pawn shop nearby and get some good food while I was waiting though, so I guess that's a plus. Also You'd be surprised how much of a Costco haul you could fit in a Z3 roadster (top up) if you really try. read more

These guys are contracted through Progressive to provide roadside assistance. Earlier this year, Progressive assigned them to me to fix a flat tire. The request was put in on a Friday evening and Monday, it sill layeth flat. When I called for a status update, dude said, "Yeah, Yeah, we'll be there, we'll be there", I tried to ask a few questions, and he interrupted me and repeated himself. I lost my temper and said some things I probably shouldn't have and not suitable for young children. He embraced and was up for the challenge by cursing back at me. Had my rear air diffuser repaired and my oil changed for less than what the dealer would charge. He went above and beyond his job duties by offering to help us find a new tire and rim, and was even willing to meet us half way to deliver it!!! (we were traveling...so not the most ideal situation to replace a tire and rim). Totally misdiagnosed the problem with our car; demanded that the problem was a sensor that the car DOESN'T EVEN HAVE! Charged us an hour $140 for 5 min of a scan tool and put a sticker..not a magnet or window cling...a sticker on our door jamb advertising his business that now we have to try to get off without scratching the paint. Had to wait almost 3 hours to get a tow when it was below freezing and could not have the vehicle on due to why it was getting towed. I called AAA and they sent out MAAS Euro worx in Bismarck, ND who tried to rip me off. I called at 1PM to get my car jumped, he tells me that something else is wrong with my car and he needs to tow it in. Or it is possible that the battery is frozen. He then states he would have to leave and get a different truck when he was driving a tow truck. An hour later someone from their shop calls to inform me that if I bring my car to their shop I would get a AAA discount and the guy is on the way. At 4;15 like hours later I get a call he ask if he is towing my car back to their shop and I say no to my shop Capital Heights Auto, at 4:30 this guy comes back driving the same tow truck and states to me to you want to try jumping it again. I said yes of course, no luck then he states maybe you battery is behind your seat, I said no it is right where you are standing (so where has he had the cables connected to the past times he has tried to jump my car???) I said I can give you the manual if you need it, then he tries it again and magically it cranks. I go straight to Capital Heights Auto and all I needed was my battery cables cleaned. This place is clearly trying to lure people into their shop with made up issues to scam them out of money. People should be informed of this so they don't get used and abused, it was clearly because I was female and he thought I was stupid. read more

I was in N.Dakota visiting my daughter. I went to leave to drive back to Wisconsin, and my car would not turn over. Called roadside service. They came out and it would not take a jump. They ended up towing it to Maas Euro Worx. The owner "Mo" worked on my car Fri, Sat and even all day Sunday. What EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. He told me, "when I have a car in my shop and it has problems, I'm going to do what ever it takes" He most certainly did. Extremely IMPRESSED. Just picked it up today. I was recently in Bismarck for business. On my return trip to Fargo, I had gotten just a few miles out of Bismarck and the alternator on my Jetta failed. My roadside assistance contacted Maas for towing and they were there very quickly. And lucky for me I found out from the driver they have a repair shop and work on VWs. Knowing I was from out of town they very quickly found a replacement alternator and had it installed in no time for a great price. In roughly 3 hours' time I went from sitting in a dead car on the side of I94, to being back on the road and able to get home same day! Everyone was very professional and made sure I knew what was going on with my car. From the tow operator to the manager and mechanic I was thoroughly impressed. read more

0 stars. Taking your vehicle here will be the biggest mistake you can ever make. They have nearly ruined my life. I wrote a huge page long review on yelp that got lost to the abyss of the internet. So lets make this long story short. All within a year and a half I was swindled out of 8k dollars. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. When my car died 2 years ago, maas euroworx was hired by my insurance company to tow it to the dealership. Well the owner of the shop contacted me and poached my business because he said he would be cheaper. So I agreed to the biggest mistake of my life so far. They determined i needed a new transmission. Well a few months after that my car died dead in its tracks assuming the transmission just fell out of whack I asked them go do a complete follow through so I could fix everything at once. This time they determined I needed an engine replacement, they also fixed everything i had asked them to, however they put absolutley no effort at all into diagnosing any other issues with the vehicle. After more than a month of walking everywhere in the snow I got my vehicle back, at this point im out 2k for the first transmission and another 5k for the engine replacement and other fixes like brakes etc. No more than another few months later and my car AGAIN DIED DEAD IN ITS TRACKS. Maas euroworx towed my vehicle to the shop and now determined I needed a SECOND TRANSMISSION REPLACENT IN LESS THAN 1 YEAR. Stupidly I agreed. They now charged me "half" price for the second tranny when it should have been free. Im now out 8k dollars to this place. Now the real kicker is within 48 hours of having my vehicle back for the 3rd time my check engine light went on, my air conditioning was completely out and on top of everything, while in the shop, my vehicles exterior was also mutilated. They cracked my front bumper in half, tore of the windshield fluid dispenser off (it no longer works) and tore a giant hole in the back bumper. Moe(the owner) offered an alleged free fix for air conditioning but after 8k spent in a year I would never trust them again. He basically denied destroying my cars exterior as Well as royaling messing up all the work they did. I should also mention while the first tranny took over 2 weeks to install, the second took 24 hours. HUGE RED FLAGS but i was already out 7k by that point. Lets cut to now, I decided I needed to write this review because guess what? My check engine light is back on and my engine grinds when I start my vehicle. They should expect to hear a whole lot more from me. I am reporting them to my insurance agency as well as the better business bureau (of which they are not accredited.) read more

Came to this shop one day for a routine oil & filter change for my BMW X5 35d. Note that I even brought my own BMW oil and Mann filter. I also wanted them to top off my DEF fluid as I also brought my own DEF fluid with me. This is how things transpired: First, I made sure to ask that he has worked on BMW diesels before. He replied, "Oh, suuure" (very hesitantly). That was my first clue. He then stated that looking at his computer that I may have brought the wrong DEF fluid as BMW DEF fluid is colored blue. (that was my second clue). I insisted to him that he was talking about "Ad Blue" which is how the Europeans market DEF - it's the brand name. DEF, I explained to him, is colorless. So, his Mexican helper finished doing the oil and filter service. I then noticed that his helper was struggling to fill my DEF reservoirs - and I had to show them both where my active and passive DEF tanks were located (third clue). BMW uses a special DEF adapter nozzle (which I provided as well) to service their DEF reservoir. After a few minutes, they finally finished the DEF servicing. The total bill for this service was $144.00!! This is with me bringing my own filter, oil, and DEF fluid. I didn't complain, paid the bill and left. When I got home, I noticed that there were numerous spots of white powdery material all over my BMW's engine area - an obvious indication that DEF spilled in those areas. I double checked the active and passive reservoirs and discovered that they were not serviced properly as I had to add another 3 gallons of DEF between the two reservoirs - unbelievable. The reason I did not submit a review on this shop was that Bismarck is such a small city and did not want any drama while living there. Now, that we've moved back to South Florida, I feel that this review is long overdue. The owner is an Iranian from California, and asking the local garages and tire shops around Bismarck revealed that they don't like this guy. Lastly, he started talking about politics and I mentioned that I am retired US military and had worked in Basrah, Iraq which is about 3 miles from the Iranian border. He asked if I ever crossed the border to visit. I looked at him funny and stated that as an American, I would be crazy to visit that country given several Americans are being detained there for no reason at all. He stated that I am being closed minded or naive for believing and stated that so many Iranians in this country are also being held without any justification. I then asked him named me an Iranian who is detained in the US for no reason at all - he could not give me one name. Stay away from this joke of a BMW mechanic, plus he's a frigging pro-Iranian government sympathizer who is enjoying the freedoms of what America has offered him and his family. read more
