He's knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and very enthusiastic about his work. He gives me his undivided attention. I always leave my appointments feeling happy and carefree, because I know he's going to take good care of me. I no longer live in Utah. I was seeing a podiatrist in a different state and was not impressed with the treatment I was receiving. I wanted to get Dr. Taylor's opinion, as I had seen him several times before and really trusted his judgment. So I emailed Dr. Taylor and he was kind enough to answer my question through email. He was very prompt in his response, too. I was so impressed with his knowledge and kindness that I decided to fly back to Utah so I could see him for my final follow-up. I trust and respect Dr. Taylor more than any other doctor I've ever met. If every doctor were like him, the world would be a better place.

Dr Taylor is such a good dr! I had an emergency with a shard of glass and my foot. The biggest part…read morewas taken out when it happened but there was a lot of pain still. We knew there was more in there after an X-ray revealed a tiny piece. A deeply embedded 4mm piece was stuck deep in my foot. Dr Taylor scheduled me to come 1/2 hr before he opens to try and get it out. With no luck, we scheduled surgery and he got me all fixed up. Dr Taylor kept a close eye on my healing progress. By three weeks I was back at my dance class all healed and with no pain. I am very thankful for him and the care he gives his patients. Very nice guy. We had a lot of laughs and he always made me feel comfortable. Thanks so much!

DR. HEIDEN IS WONDERFUL!!…read more During a recent trip to Park City, a skier slammed into me at a high rate of speed, which caused me to fall and break my wrist. I was referred to Dr. Heiden by the urgent care center with the warning that "she is so good, it might take a while to get an appointment". When I explained what had happened to her office, they found a way to schedule me in only a day and half later. Upon arriving at the office in Heber City, I completed the registration paperwork and within minutes, was taken to the exam room where I was promptly seen by Dr. Heiden. She has a wonderful, calming demeanor and after a quick casting of my wrist, I was out of the office from start to finish in less than an hour, unlike many other specialists where two and even three hours is the norm. I am so happy, and lucky for that matter, that Dr. Heiden was able to take care of me. She is not only efficient, but more importantly, obviously caring and very reassuring that everything would be fine. It is with great sincerity that I can recommend Dr. Karen Heiden to anyone who has an orthopedic need.

My husband underwent a routine ACL replacement 2 years ago. It became infected. I accept that infections can happen but it was the lack of response from Dr Heiden or his staff that caused me most concern. I sent several texts and phone calls to either Dr Heiden or his MA. They were ignored or brushed off. Never did Dr Heiden ask to see my husband, even though I would expect that a doctor of his experience would suspect that this patient was not doing well. Dr Heiden has never seen my husband since the operation and we have received no support from him. We changed to the much better orthopaedics at the U and my husband received a knee replacement (he had to have 3 clean out surgeries due to the infection). The team at the U of U orthopaedics were brilliant and we move forward. I just want to warn people: if it goes wrong (and it can, I accept this), you do not want Dr Heiden. He doesn't care.

I've never have to see a podiatrist ever in my life. I called yesterday for an appointment because…read morehis office was close by and he had decent ratings. They were able to get me in the next day (today) and as soon as I walked in the door I was able to go back, hardly any wait time at all except how long it took for me to fill out the new patient paperwork. He came in and I showed him my feet (ingrown toe nails ) and they were causing a lot of pain. He gave me two options, and we decided to just go ahead and have them removed right there on the spot! I was surprised, I thought I'd have to come back another day to have them done, so I agreed to go forward and let him do it. I'm a huge wimp and I don't do well with pain or shots of any kind, and he told me I had to get 4 of them :( 2 in each big toe. And it really really hurt! But he was so nice, he did everything he could to make it as painless as possible, he sprayed cold stuff on my feet so they wouldn't hurt as bad, and helped distract me from the pain by talking to me until the anesthetic kicked in. After that, he did what he needed to do and it was all done in less than 20 minutes. In and out same day, no pain after leaving the office, and the best (and only) experience I've had with a podiatrist but now I will go to him for all my feet and ankle issues and I recommend him to anyone who needs help! He is the nicest man and so gentle and I am very grateful for his help. He is definitely good at what he does. Thank you Dr. McKell!!
