Found Dr. Tyler Miranda via ZocDoc. He was highly rated there & his rating transitioned to Google as well. So, I definitely had to make my appointment here. The office is beautiful. The waiting area is lovely. Plenty of space, and well kept. There's even mints & lollipops for you! The front desk staff are awesome. Polite. Smiles & makes you feel welcomed. Dr. Miranda has awesome beside manner. He explained everything in an understandable manner. He gave great recommendations based on my issue. I will be continuing to see Dr.Miranda. i saw Dr. David Cheskis and had a fantastic experience. This was the third podiatrist i have seen for my foot pain. i have flat feel and it's a constant challenge. I truly can not speak highly enough about Dr. Cheskis! he was professional, didn't make me feel rushed, made me feel heard but best of all resolved my foot pain. i am very scared of shots, very!!! when Dr. Cheskis recommended a quick injection, i refused. He explain that he could prescribe medication, but it would not be as effective. Dr. Cheskis actually helped me get over my fears, clearly explained everything I would feel & was compassionate & kind. I felt better within an hour! and was very proud of myself that i got the injection. but i can sincerely say i couldn't do it without his support. Even my kids were shocked I agreed to the injection. I've had a bunion for my entire life that I wanted to get fixed. I did a lot of research on the place I would get it done at, and they had a lot of great reviews here. When I had my first visit, the doctors recommended I get the new bunion lapiplasty surgery because of my age and bunion severity. I then got my surgery a few weeks later with Dr Cheskis, and everything went great. I was obviously nervous about the procedure because it was 2 hours long and I knew the recovery would be hard, but all the doctors made me feel very comfortable. My surgery was about 7 weeks ago, and I'm almost back to normal. Recovery was extremely difficult, but I was able to walk much sooner than I thought I would. I don't have pain anymore, I just have a bit of stiffness which physical therapy will help with. I truly could not recommend this place enough. They were absolutely amazing in getting everything set up, and they're always so friendly when I go in for my follow-ups. My bunion has been my biggest insecurity for as long as I can remember, so I'm super grateful for the work that they've done. read more

(SUPER FRIENDLY AND GENUINE) Why 1 star for Vieira This is why: This is the behalf of my mom since she doesn't have Yelp. My mom had major pain on her foot because she slipped on ice. I recommended her to go to Advanced Podiatry since I went there for my foot and had a GREAT experience. After her visit, she was SO DISAPPOINTED. She had Evan A. Vieira (not even going to call him a doctor because he doesn't deserve that title). My family and friends are all doctors and ICU nurses and they were shocked at how my mom described her experience...she said he didn't give her any advice on next steps and the x-Ray wasn't good enough. His demeanor overall was super rude and belittled my small Asian mom. I wish I was there to put him in his place. My mom is not the type to complain and she is super patient, but with her painful foot and horrible experience made it worse. FOR THE FIVE STARS for my favorite recommended podiatrist, Dr. Quynh P. I chose Dr. Pedram Hendizadeh after interviewing 2 other surgeons for bunion treatment. He answered all of my questions and concerns and I appreciated his bedside manner. I found him to be an excellent surgeon that is supported by superior staff in both his office and a wonderful surgery center. After my surgery, I had a fast recovery with no pain. At the moment, I am not sure what to think about this establishment. I went in because of the steller reviews for the doctors and it seemed great. They looked at my bone spurs, gave their diagnosis, and recommended that I purchase their own custom orthotics. I was told that my insurance does not cover them, so I paid $700 to get them. When I first got them, they seemed to be working out great for me, however, within 2 months, the fabric started to come apart. I went in to get them looked at, because the fabric started bothering me as I walked. They took them in to be refurbished. A few weeks later, they told me that they are refurbished and I can come pick them up. To this point, for every appointment, I had to take off of work to come to their office. I picked them up, they gave me the orthotics. A few days in them, they felt different and hurt my feet more than helped it. I went back to return them, again, took a day off. They sent them out again, and called a few weeks later. They are better, however, now there is a new pain in the same foot that had the bad orthotic. At this point, I have gone in 5 times, and will have to go again for this new issue. Now I am assuming, the more I go in, the more they can bill my insruance company for a visit and a "check up" even though its just been me simply telling them something is wrong and they take the orthotics to send them back to the 'lab' to get refurbished. Its quite annoying having to take days off of work and visit them over and over for the same issue. And to make the matters worse, the last time I went, I told them that I don't need to book an appointment, rather I am just coming to pick up my orthotics. I asked the receptionist for them and she gave them to me. I decided to sit down in the waiting room, just so I can put them in my shoes. Their own $700 product. The waiting room had 1 other person sitting down. I was told that I can not take off my shoes and put them in while in the waiting room because there are other customers. So let me get this straight, I am unable to put their own product that I paid for into my shoes, in a foot clinic? Who makes these rules? Honestly, it is extremely rude. As an icing to it all, when I asked, why not? I was told: that is why you should make an appointment. So in order to just pick up my messed up orthotics, I should actually set up an appointment, so they can bill the insurance company for what? A "check up"? Just so I can put on my own orthotics in a foot clinic? Thats very shady, to me. I hate to say this but it does feel like that they will do what ever to get more money from their customers, whether its out of pocket or through insurance. And who knows, maybe my insurance does cover the orthotics or maybe even a part of it, but they never told me. Again, who knows. At this point, I am questioning the way they conduct business, until they prove otherwise. Off to my 6th visit with them for the same issue! read more

I have nothing but the highest regards for Associate Podiatrists of Roslyn, especially for Dr. Pedram Hendizadeh. I had my first bunion surgery this past month, and I have recovered amazingly quickly and easily. His plastic surgery technique for the incision site is unlike anything I could have imagined, and I'm so thrilled with the results, even at this early stage. Dr. Hendizadeh is a true artist. I have always felt so comfortable with him, and I trust him completely with all my foot needs. I am already trying to fit in my second surgery before I move, because I could never trust another doctor as much. The staff are extremely friendly, and the wait is never longer than 5-10 minutes. I can't recommend this place and Dr. Hendizadeh enough. If you have foot problems, you have to go here. read more

Dr. Hendizadeh is an outstanding, professional, and very likable doctor, He went above and beyond to help me. I had a calcaneal fracture (a broken heel bone) so I always have foot problems, but whenever I see him he helps make it better. Dr. H spends time and really listens and answers and has a dialogue to make sure that we understand each other before we discuss our options and he clearly lays out the best course of action step-by-step, I never feel rushed! And here's something novel and awesome, the people that work in his office actually don't have an attitude and do their job quickly efficiently and well and actually help you instead of acting like they're doing you a favor by answering the phone! So the office is very well run, extending even to the aspect of not making you wait forever in the waiting room which is great. read more

Completely professional and lovely experience. I called on a Tuesday to schedule an appt for as soon as possible and they were able to schedule me for the very next afternoon. I was seen by Dr. H and he quickly diagnosed me and even offered some orthopedic soles due to my profession. He was kind, efficient and timely. The office itself was beautiful. I came in a few days ago with a foot that wouldn't stop bleeding -- more details you do not need -- and got wonderful care from Dr. Croughan. Efficient, diligent, persistent, clear (no fancy lingo for her). And thorough: she did a biopsy to see if the wound was worse than anyone thought; she wanted to see the x-rays; she wrote a prescription. Because of her, I am no longer bleeding; my foot hurts less in gradual stages; I am not frightened that I will bleed to death in my bathroom. I would recommend this practice highly. I also received the best, most friendly, most attentive help and follow-up from Annette and Lois. Although I am seriously skeptical about Western medicine, I am now completely convinced that APR is the place to go. I suspect they do wonders for regular maintenance as well -- not only for patients who are threatening to make a mess of the waiting room. read more

I needed to see a podiatrist as soon as possible because I thought I had broken some of my toes when something dropped on my foot. I called the office and was told they were booked solid but because it was an emergency I should come over and a Dr. would see me as soon as possible. I can't say enough about how I was treated. The staff was so friendly and caring. They took me in for X-rays almost immediately. I may have waited about 10 -15 minutes after that to then see Dr. Croughan. As busy as the office was, she never made me feel like I was being rushed. She thoroughly went over my X-rays with me and answered all my questions and concerns. I came here because I had an in-grown toe nail. Even though I hadn't been there before, I got an appointment the same day. The office is clean and organized. It's seems that it is brand new. I had the pleasure to see Dr. Vieira. He was fabulous. He made sure I was comfortable and didn't feel any pain. I told him I had my son's party the next day and he made sure my toe was nicely wrapped. My nail healed within a week of the procedure. It looks and feels great! read more

Probably one of the best doctor visits I've ever had. From the office staff to the doctors this place is great. Went in for an ingrown toenail, which was handled so quickly and professionally. I happend to mention a previous issue with my ankle from hockey years ago and the doc explain what was going on. Will be returning to deal with that issue and bringing my daughter who's having an ankle issue, as well. Bottom line, can't do better if you have foot issues. High;y recommend them. read more

Dr. Hendizadeh and his staff truly saved my life. After a botched surgery left me with painful scars and scars coming through the bone in both feet, I could barely put pressure on my right foot let alone walk. I had waited until the last possible second to go to the doctor because I was afraid of doing more damage to my foot. When I had met Dr. H and staff, they completely calmed me down and reassured me that I was in the best hands possible. Well, they were right. They fit me in for surgery within the week, tended to my every need and broke the patient/doctor wall. They explained everything they were going to do to my foot during the procedure, they answered every one of my calls (even the middle of the night panic ones, sorry Dr. DiStefano ) and constantly called to follow up. The surgery went better than I could have ever expected, my foot is perfectly straight with a minimal scar. More importantly, I am able to walk, run and return to all my normal activities. I am proud to say I have just booked my second surgery with this team for my left foot. I have never met doctors that care for their patients like these doctors do. I was very disappointed. I saw Dr. Hendizadeh at the Huntington office. He mentioned a few times that vitamins would help my foot problem and they would be waiting for me at the desk. When I got to the desk the receptionist asked me for $60.00. I was really surprised. Without even discussing the benefits of orthotics he offered to fit me for them that day at a cost of nearly $700.00. This left me feeling very uncomfortable. read more

You never have to wait long in the waiting room (which I normally do with other doctors). They just moved recently and their new office and it is very nice, clean and conveniently located.
