Because I don't understand the field of accounting, I worry that my questions are stupid or that I don't know to ask about something. However, Katrina is extremely comfortable to sit with and talk through a problem. She is an expert at the underrated skill of asking a question and sitting comfortably until I can figure out the answer. Plus, she's easy to get in touch with by email or phone, usually responding within less than 24 hours if I contact her (way better than I manage to do for her!). Prior to contacting Katrina, I had met with a larger accounting firm in town. It left me with a bad taste in my mouth for a number of reasons, but one thing that I realized is that I wanted to work with someone who chooses her own clients, controls her own work, and sets her own schedule.
