This is a follow-up to a review I posted recently. The company got back in touch with me (after seeing the review). We discussed what happened, how my concerns fell through the cracks, and what the company was doing to avoid that happening again in the future. They also reconsidered my request for a refund. These guys are terrible. They remodeled our bathroom and wanted to install different type fixtures in it. Bathroom sink brushed nickel, toilet stainless steel. We asked them to install what we requested on our quote. They resisted. Then less than two years after the remodel we had to change the wax seal! They installed a 1/4 inch seal. Cost them less. We also had to argue with them to install the toilet seat we specifically requested??? Save yourself some headaches. Avoid these guys at all costs! read more

Horrible to deal with. Came out to look at a freezer, but he wasn't able to fix it, so I purchased a new one (not from him). Still got a bill for over $400. Filed a lien against me, so I paid it. I obviously don't have any good things to say about this company. Good luck! read more

The most disorganized staff. The techs are great but these people dont know what address they actually serviced. Then will bill another address thinking they were actually there. Then will try and threaten force to get payment from you. Thank God i was actually able to prove them wrong, after alot of back and forth. Extreemly rude people and not even an apology. Giving 1 star only because I can't give 0. Don't use this company, their slogan should be "We take Advantage". In the past (for 7+ years) we have used this company and felt like they had treated us fair so when our geo system stopped working in January we called them to come out and take a look. We were told that there was an $85.00 service fee. We agreed to that as we had done many times before. Usually when they came out if it was going to be more than the service fee they would give us an estimate before they would proceed further. We should have known right away that something was off - they kept delaying coming to our house and didn't show up until the next day at almost 4pm. When they did finally show, they sent out 2 younger guys who had no clue how to work on geo systems. They had to get the "service manager" on a Facetime call throughout the time they were "working" on our system. When they went to connect an additional emergency electric heat strip in our system it lit insulation on fire which caused my house to fill with smoke and embers to come out of my vents. The "service manager" told them to pull the electric heat strips out and clean them prior to hooking them back up again since they probably had dust on them - sure enough they did. My husband took one of the guys to our utility room who watched my husband clean the strip. He returned the strip to the second guy who was cutting out the burned insulation. After fixing that issue they came to determine that they still had no clue how to fix my unit so the "service manager" told them just to stay here and he would come when he got done with the job he was on. It was well after 5pm by this time and not one of them had mentioned any cost at this point to my husband or I. As they waited for the "service manager" to show up the two guys sat at our kitchen table with my husband and we fed them dinner. It took the "service manager" about an hour to get to our house. When he got there, he fixed the issue within about 20 - 25 minutes. He also told us we needed a different thermostat, told us what to order, and told us he would personally come out and put it on when it came in. Again there was absolutely no mention regarding any cost. We ordered the thermostat, received it within a few days, called and asked that the "service manager" whose name is Cody come out as he stated he would. 3 days later they sent someone else out around 5 pm on a Friday who had to Facetime Cody to know how to hook up the thermostat correctly. Again no mention of cost. The following week I received an email from Advantage with a bill for $660 - no itemization was on the bill at all. We were both in complete shock! My husband called the office and requested an itemized bill. After 1 week we had not received the itemized bill so my husband called back to the office to request the itemized bill again. He was told he could talk to Cody who could tell him what the charges were for - however, Cody was not in the office and they would have him call back. My husband waited several days with no response. My husband then called again and asked to speak with the owner and was told he was out of the office but Cody could tell him the charges. My husband ended up calling the cell phone number for Cody who proceeded to tell him that all $660 was for labor since he had two guys and two trips to our house plus himself. Keep in mind they used no parts and almost caught our house on fire and the two guys they sent out had no clue how to fix our system! The next day my husband went up to the main office to speak with the owner of the company. Cody met him out in the reception area, proceeded to yell and cuss at him and told him "If you don't want to pay your f****** bill then don't pay it, don't ever call us again." They refused to let my husband speak to the owner of the company. We are paying on this bill but we are limited in our household like most people are these days and were totally unprepared for a bill this high. This company is absolutely taking advantage of people - I am saddened by this because this company used to be a wonderful company who I recommended highly. Now I tell everyone I talk to that they need to avoid them because they will overpay and be treated poorly. Do yourself a favor and just don't call them. If the owner is reading this - do yourself a favor, take a good long look at your service manager and how he is doing business. He may be making money for your company, but at what cost? read more

We had our kitchen pipe burst about 2 months ago. We have been through the wringer talking to plumbing companies who said they would not be able to handle it. Advantage came out and explained the process clearly and felt confident they would be able to fix our problem. They placed us on the schedule for 2 weeks later. Three days before they were scheduled to come, we received a call stating that the project was denied by management and they are not able to do anything. We are most upset that we are coming up on 2 months of having to water use in the kitchen and they lied to us about being able to fix the problem. read more

Advantage Plumbing came late, didn't give me a quote, and then overcharged me big time. 3 times what I think I owe them. I had asked their hourly rate prior to coming. Called and asked the owner or manager to call me back 3 times and the coward never called me back. I had planned to consider them for a bigger project. No way in hell. He's a coward and a crook in my opinion. read more

Michal P use them for sewer line repair. Parts were marked up four to five times retail price. Labor prices were absorbitant. I corrected the remaining problem myself the next day when the line clogged up again. I had worked with this business for 37 plus years. Wow, just wow. Biggest rip off. The first worker said he couldn't fix the problem, a pipe burst, until he drove back to his shop to get a part. Then comes back and said they can't fix it or come back for 3 days after I waited over a week with no water. He then said my charge for his time that day would be around $200. So I called someone else who came right out and fixed in one shot. All new pipes. I get a bill for $613!!!! For maybe three hours. Just find someone else, anyone!! They showed up three days later thinking I would still use them!! Joke. read more

The project took 2 and a half weeks longer than supposed to (due to them leaving early or just showing up and not doing anything), left our house a complete mess with dirt and drywall all over the floor and in our bathtub. also didn't patch up any of their work in our bathrooms. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! If I could give 0 stars, I 100% absolutely would. The most unprofessional company along with Bedlam Concrete company. Fair warning!!! read more
