THE EMPLOYEE stated "you can call back after tomorrow's md virtual call to book the appointment. I will put mark the time to hold the spot in our system". When I called back today to book the appointment, I am told that the spot is no longer available and they cannot do that in their system. Got an apology but that does not help me to get transportation booked on short notice!!!! Not professional and lack of employee training resulting in total client disattifaction.

I was at an appointment here in Buford waiting on my ride when I got to witness an "above and…read morebeyond the call of duty" moment in life. A driver driving in 3D medical transport van realized that the heavy motorized wheelchair her patient was in was malfunctioning. She took the extra awesome job on of pushing this patient in her chair all the way to the elevator and then to her correct floor and on to the Doctor's office. Kudos for that driver in representing what is still good and well with society. Her humanity was inspiring.

By that point, figuring out how I was going to get to and from my outpatient procedure was causing more anxiety than the procedure, itself. Abel gave me a quote and got me scheduled five minutes into a single phone call. He called again the Friday before my Monday appointment to confirm. Then Mark showed up at my house a few minutes early and was good company the whole way to Emory Midtown. He gave me his business card so hospital staff could call him when I was ready to be released. I was wheeled outside the door, and there was Mark in the minibus, ready and waiting. Unbelievably smooth process! Mark's business card is going in my permanent collection. This service is so much easier to employ than friends whose schedules invariably conflict with mine. A literal godsend.
