TLDR: This is not the company you want to trust to transport you after a medical procedure. A…read more15-minute ride ended up taking over an hour because the owner gave the driver the wrong address. The owner who handles dispatch is very unprofessional. The nurse called him twice when I was ready for pickup and he didn't answer until I finally called myself. When I made the reservation, I said I was going to Mathews St SW in West End. The driver took me to Matthews St NE and we ended up in Druid Hills before I noticed we were on the wrong side of town. What should have been a 15 minute ride ended up taking over an hour due to the mixup. The driver told me that's not the first time the owner had given him the wrong address. I was doped up after a medical procedure, so it's imperative that they accurately record the address during the reservation and not rely on incapacitated patients to catch these mistakes. That's exactly why hospitals won't let you leave in an Uber and insist you hire a medical transport company. I left a message for the owner relaying my concerns about my experience and no surprise, he didn't respond.

The driver arrived at 9:10 a.m. 30 minutes later, and the driver said the traffic was bad. I asked about her GPS and she was on her phone GPS, not an auto navigation system. The following day for the trip to bring me back home, a driver and her partner arrived and the partner was confrontational when they were 40 minutes late. I got quiet and then realized neither of them knew where they were taking me. I gave them my home address and neither could get a signal to take me home. I was not feeling well, since I had surgery. I finally googled my home address and had to talk to the driver and guide her to my house. These drivers should have an automobile navigation system which guides them better when there are traffic delays. A person needing medical transport should not have to give them directions. Horrible service!!!

They kept pushing the time and picked me up at 3 AM. 2nd time. I was to be transported from Emory to Budd Terrace. Request critical morning transport, given 7 pm. Picked up at 1:30AM. 3rd. This morning they were to pick me up at 8 am. I had told them 9am instead of 9:20 hoping for a decent time. I called dispatch at 9 and was told I was next. I got picked up at 10AM and the appointment was cancelled by the doctors office at an hour late when I was in the ambulance on the way. Being in excruciating pain and unable to walk and now not able to see the Doctor until Friday. No, I won't ever use them again. The crews I have met are great but management sucks.

First, the 911 operator told me to gather my meds then go outside and lock my door and wait on the doorstep. Then she informed me she was hanging up, which I surely didn't expect. I thought she'd stay with me. Paramedics arrived within about 10 minutes. I was one flight up the stairs and on the ground at my door writhing in pain. There were two, but only one came upstairs WITHOUT THE GURNEY. It was left downstairs. The paramedic who came up offered me her hand and said, "Can you walk downstairs?" I was like, are freakin' kidding me? She was not. I could see they had no intention of transporting me down the flight of stairs. A few days later, I asked my retired firefighter friend about this. He apologized that that happened, and he said something like that would never have happened like this in California, where we are from. I can't believe I got down the stairs, but as a weightlifter I mentally treated it like a lift. It was awful. Also, I get that in their profession they have to work with a lot of people who are uncomfortable and may be annoying at times, but it sure didn't feel very nice being on the receiving end of their impatient responses.
