I would recommend this tutoring center. They are student oriented, it's easy to schedule sessions, and the tutors are very knowledgeable.

We paired them with the sweet potato hash and a croissant, and everything was beautifully presented. Our server Gabi was fantastic -- friendly, fun, and even offered to snap a photo with us. Went to Prep & Pastry on a Sunday morning after a hike, arriving around 9am. It is a large, bright…read morerestaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, located in Scottsdale and the edge of Phoenix, near the mall. The area is filled with restaurants ranging from casual spots to more upscale options. I started with the lavender matcha latte, which had just a touch of sweetness and was comforting. For my entrée, I ordered the Cast Iron Duck Confit ($19). I was deciding between a couple of dishes, and our waitress recommended this one, which was an excellent suggestion. The dish featured braised duck, shallots, spinach, Cabernet-braised cherries, cherry goat cheese mousse, potatoes, and two eggs over easy. The portion was generous, hearty, and packed with flavor. The duck was tender, moist, and cooked perfectly. The Cabernet-braised cherries and cherry goat cheese mousse were unique additions that gave the dish a creative twist. There were plenty of potatoes, and I ended up ordering a side of chipotle aioli, which paired really well with them. I have really enjoyed the chipotle sauces I have tried around Phoenix, they seem much more flavorful and spicier than many of the versions I've had on the East Coast. Overall, this was an excellent brunch in a clean, open, and inviting space. Service was friendly and attentive, and our food arrived quickly despite it being a busy Sunday morning. They also have an attached café and bakery with an impressive display of pastries, although we did not have room to try any this visit. I would definitely recommend Prep & Pastry and look forward to returning on a future trip. There were several other dishes on the menu that looked good, so I would happily come back to explore more of the menu.

The food came out in literally 3 minutes. I don't know how they did it! The potatoes were the best breakfast potatoes I've ever had. Seasoned perfectly, nice crispy bits on the top and soft creamy interior. We had the southwest croissant same and the monte cristo. The chorizo was rich and flavorful with out being overly fatty. That bread in Monte cristo was fluffy and decadent, but be warned it is heavy! Even the server that cashed us out and bussed our table was amazing! 10/10 experience !

Another staff member brought our drinks after we ordered and our server eventually made it around to us after saying he had a bunch of tables - I get it, it was Easter! I had the prep sausage breakfast Sammie which was amazing. The potatoes that came with it were so deliciously crispy. I also ordered a blueberry lemon mimosa which was incredible. It was so light and refreshing. One of our friends had to ask another server to bring his hot coffee around after he was the only one to not get it. It was my boyfriend's birthday so they also offered him a free pastry. I tried the chocolate chip cookie he picked out which was so good. I told the server I wanted to pay for my boyfriend and he acted like he charged me, however, as he made his way around the table he ended up charging my bf for his meal! I was a little confused with our server but other than that I absolutely loved this place. I think it was just the rush of the holiday and all. Next time I'd love to sit outside and enjoy downtown Gilbert and all its cuteness.

As a second grader, she is more confident and accurate with math. She goes 5 days a week one hour each day and never complained about going to Mathnesium. She actually enjoys going there which makes everything 100x better as for parents. I have two more kiddos at the age of 5 and 4. When they are old enough, I am definitely enrolling them to Mathnesium. Hopefully you guys have some sort of family discount because it gets pricey, but well worth the money. You will have our business until all my 3 kiddos finish high school.

When the state changed over to Common Core, my daughter was going into 4th grade. The new…read morestandards were applied differently for grades. Ideas that were previously taught in 4th grade, were now going to be taught in 3rd grade. At the time I didn't realize the change and the teachers she had didn't inform me that there would be gaps due to this change. My daughter, who previously had loved math and got A's, went down to C's that year and then started dragging the next years. I thought it was due to her not wanting to do homework. I had no idea that she was working blind because Common Core changed not just when subjects were taught but also how they were taught. Her grades continued to plummet and we were all frustrated as she was barely making D's. It wasn't until mid year in 7th grade talking with her teacher I found out how bad the gaps were. That day, I made my appointment with Mathnasium. Rachel was fantastic and worked with me and a payment schedule to include assessments. We decided on a 6 month contract and reevaluate my daughter's progress at the end. What I liked: -My daughter liked going. She was enjoying it and the incentives really had her working towards goals. -Rachel was terrific! She was very easy to communicate with and open to discussing any issues that came up. -The schedule was incredibly flexible. I never had a problem getting the time I was looking for -Half the session could be spent on tutoring her homework. My daughter wasn't exclusively tied to the "plan" her assessment gave. This allowed her to learn as she was filling in gaps. What could be improved: -The online scheduling is clunky and awkward. There must be a better system. What I loved: -My daughter saw almost immediate improvement in not just her grades but also her attitude toward math. One month into the program and her grades when from nearly failing to high B's/low A's. 2 months and she was achieving A's. At the end of 6 months, she is now succeeding in math again and no longer dreads it. She is all A's in Math so far this year and it is the first homework she gets done now. I am not going to lie, this is expensive. For us, however, we decided the investment was worth it to get our daughter back on a successful path. If in the future, issues raise their head, we will be back.

We first started ordering after our second child was born and just needed readily-accessible healthy meals. The meals are very fairly priced, and the quality is always great. I'm not saying they are perfect, but no person or business is. The key is that they always make it right in the rare case where there was an issue. Also, their delivery people are always courteous and respectful - in particular Patricia has been so kind to make sure not to ring the doorbell late in case our kids are already in bed. Thank you Next Step! Keep up the good work!

I started ordering from the company…read moreagain about a month ago and have noticed a few things have changed: -There seems to be more sauces I'm not really a fan of. -My fridge smells like whatever sauces or seasonings being used and I'm not a fan of that either. -The containers seem to have a lot more grease at the bottom when the food is gone than before. -The delivery person used to let you know when they were on their way to your house, now they just show up. Even though there's a delivery period of 5.5 hours listed when you order, yes...the old notice that someone was actually on their way was appreciated. -There used to be more vegetables. In one of the meals this week, there were only 6 pieces of vegetables (in the large portion). A week or two ago I complained the potatoes were burned. The company responded to my complaint. This week, there were potatoes in the green chili chicken that weren't cooked thoroughly. I didn't complain this week, because I complained the last time I ordered. But if you can't cook the potatoes without overcooking them or undercooking them, maybe you shouldn't offer them as an option. This week, I sent a message asking what the macros for the steak meal were, but I never received a response. I also included a picture of container not having a label. Their website says "Each meal varies in the number of carbs/protein/macros but are guaranteed to be healthy options. Each meal prep has labels to provided detailed description of the serving size." Aside from the errors in those sentences lol...this is the second time I've had to email the company to get the macros for the labels that weren't on the container...but this time, no one responded. I use this meal service because I used to enjoy the food, the macro labels and to make my life easier. But it doesn't seem like that's the case anymore.
