Taking them to the YMCA child watch for the first time was extremely nerve wracking, but we were met with the most kind, patient, and warm greetings ever. Each and every one of the care providers talked warmly to the kids, redirecting gently when needed, and reassuring the nervous kids with kindness and compassion. To start off I have never known that kids could be dripped off at daycare and not cry when they go. My 2 year old granddaughter has never cried and willingly goes in on her own. I love getting photos or videos during the day through the app as well. Such a neat feature! They show what things they are working on so I can continue to ask and with her at home. They check the kids in at the door taking temperature and wearing a mask to keep things as safe as possible. All the teachers and leaders there seem happy and are so loving to the kids. You can tell they actually love kids and enjoy being there! No wonder my granddaughter loves to go. I love to go and interact with them as well! My two children have been going to Children's Montessori Center for the last five years and I haven't witnessed anything discribed as what the last person has outlined - EVER! This is a high end Montessori Center and I feel my children are in a safe and clean environment. I have never walked into CMCI to find my children or anyone else's children unattended. In addition, I feel the staff is very professional and friendly. I have never witnessed any teachers EVER yelling at children or engaging in any inappropriate conversations. My children are excited to go to CMCI every day as they make learning fun. This isn't just a daycare, it's a learning center. My children learned at an early age how to write their own name, alphabet, all the presidents (in order) and continents by the time they were 3-4 years old, just to name a few. I cannot express how thankful I am to CMCI and Debbie Henry for preparing my children for grade school. I absolutely love this school and highly recommend it to anyone. The owners and the staff are so patient and kind with all the kids. They're especially great with children that have ADHD. My 3 year and is now extremely verbal and potty trained and he won't be four until April. Both my boys have flourished because of the loving environment here. The owners go out of their way to do really fun outings with the kids when the weather is nice. Last year they took them to the garland theater and rented a limo for transportation. They also went to Cat Tailz, Blue Zoo, and the pumpkin patch just to name a few. They're always doing really fun art projects as well. As well as feeding the kids really nutritious and yummy meals throughout the day. They have a really nice outdoor area that is attached to the field behind Millwood kindergarten and sometimes they get permission to use it for the kids. Last year they did a really fun sports camp. They also threw a really fun water party and rented an inflatable waterslide! They also threw really fun holiday parties for the kids and the parents as well. The main reason I bring my kids here is because I can trust these people 100% with my kids. And I don't take that statement lightly because I hardly trust anyone. Some of the negative reviews you might see online have to do with people connected to the previous owners of the facility and parents that are part of the drama and do not speak to the integrity that I have seen for myself.

They have a small staff and lower numbers of children in each classroom, so its less stressful for the kids. In addition, they are the base level of a church, so they have a big basketball court for the kids to play in every day, regardless of weather-- they can run all over and play with ride-on toys. Their curriculum is fun for the kids and they've had wonderful, creative enrichment activities the whole time he has been there-- musicians come and play instruments, field trips, a week focused on camping where they set up a camp site in the gym with like 12 giant tents, a picnic table, and a fake fire. My son has gotten excited about letters and numbers, and he's a pretty rascally guy, one that's hard to get to stay focused. They've done a wonderful job with him, and they have a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The teachers are so positive, patient, kind, and consistent. I keep taking him there because he's so happy, even though I have to drive way out of my way. Highly recommended :).
