That is the biggest problem with independence and Missouri in general is the amount of drug dealers here and the police in the entire state are completely worthless. I love the padded splash pad for the littles, then the multiple streams of water throughout the "little kid sections" with two different types of slides. Then in the "big kid" section there's the pool for those that are older and I'm certain adults can enjoy it as well! In the general pool area there are built in basketball goals and in the diving pool there's a rock climbing wall....my first time seeing a wall at a pool. We came here with our 2 year old and she was asleep by the time we made it home, so it's safe to say she had a great time! This aquatic center was recently renovated and it was definitely money well spent, very inclusive and fun for all ages! Can't wait to spend more summer days here cooling off.

Some places have been closed all summer. The lifeguards are chill, the family pool and slide are out young families favorite. Today they opened up one of the big slides which was awesome. 4$ to get in and a regular pool with a bball hoop. They open at 12:30 but some days it's closer to 1 when more life guards show up. Again I'm not bothered by it, we bring lunch and hang out all day. They have a large parking lot, a playground and splash pad that's no cost. It's not the best but from my lounge chair by the pool it comes close:)

Many little bring little buckets to fill with water and dump. Ground and bench seating for parents to keep watch. Large sidewalks for wagons and strollers easily accessible by all. Restrooms located next to the pad and a park with slides, swings and playground area to open soon. There is not any shade if sun is an issues come early or late but the flowers cast beautiful art shadows on the ground for those that just want to see something unexpected. Easy to spend about an hour letting your little one or kiddo play in the water. FYI this is new so I think they are still working on some water pressure issues as all the flowers were not spraying and filling but still a good time.
