I've been taking my sons here since it's opening! It was great when they were preschoolers, through elementary and middle school years and they still have a great time as high schoolers. We have always loved the lazy river and slides and have really enjoyed the addition of the wave pool. This is the perfect size water park for our community and the lifeguards have always been so attentive. My only recommendation would be to go back to being able to pay cash or card at the front desk for entry, as we have issues with the website/online ticketing system nearly every time we purchase. read more

This business is trash. Overcharging and price gouging. The bath rooms are moldy and smell like a Los Angeles homeless camp. The water in the pools are overly chlorinated and basically feel like bleach on your skin. Way too much debris in the water. With these prices they should be paying a cleaning team to thoroughly cleanse this place daily. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. read more

A clean, fun water park of sorts. It's more than just a community pool but less than a full Oceans of Fun $$$ ticket price. There's a lazy river which isn't so lazy. It's my favorite attraction when we bring the kids, or now, grandkids! There are toddler areas, large slides, diving pools, and a reasonably priced snack bar. 1. Get a family pass please - you've been asked to year after year. Listen to the feedback you get. 2, Individual Season passes NOT worth it. Way too Expensive 3. Fix your customer service experience. People should not have to come in person only to purchase season passes - and they should not have to purchase single visit tickets online only. I stood in line with my two kids to purchase tickets, only to be told I had to do so online on my phone if they were for one day passes. BUT, if you want season passes, nothing is available online you have to physically come. Ridiculous. 3. Honor your policies. The lady in front of me bought tickets the day before and was told she could get a refund if it rained out. Sure enough it rained, and she showed up the next day to get her refund, only to be told that she would not be refunded. So she basically wasted her money, and if she wanted to visit the park on this new day she would have to purchase completely new tickets. Unethical. 4. Get a proper looking website with correct and helpful information, and keep it updated please. Fix your problems and maybe I'll be back. read more

This is a really nice "water parkish pool" The reason I'm giving it a two is the lifeguards. The pool itself minus the little toddler pool My husband and I witnessed a young lifeguard grab a probally 3 year old child by the arm. We were in the pool with the tiny kids and she went down the slide and instead of getting off on the right she excised the slide in the right so the lifeguard eagerly blew that whistle and yelled at the little girl. She was little she didn't even know she was blowing the whistle at her and she just went to keep walking and the girl walked over and grabbed the little girl by the arm yelled at her to not get off the slide on that side to which the young child still didn't understand honestly. Safety is one thing which is completely understandable but I had a migraine when I left from all the whistle blowing it wasn't even an enjoyable experience. Several of the young lifeguard because let's be honest they were ALL young it was like they waited their entire lives to blow those whistles and any little chance they got they did. At one point my daughter went to run to her dad at which I don't play those games her dad and I yelled at the same time we didn't even get it all the way out before another lifeguard yells on the top of her lungs. Let's be clear that she wasn't even in the area we were she went above and beyond to exert the power of her whistle and yelling voice. I did turn around and yell at her that we got it to which she nibbles Again I want to say Safety is extremely important my son is lifeguard I get it but your lifeguard staff some of them need some more training on dealing with the public because if it had been my young child that was grabbed the outcome would have been different. This child's parent I'm not sure even saw what happened.There's no reason unless it's kids fighting or something that there should EVER been be putting their hands on a child or grabbing them. ESPECIALLY IN THE TINY POOL. We are talking about teeny tiny kids generally the babies and toddlers in there or pre-school age. The tiny kids don't know all the rules that's why they are learning them and most parents of kids this small are right there getting after them to not do certain thing but your staff should not ever be putting their hands on kids. She did it multiple times to different kids that is not the way to handle children in that pool! Just completely unacceptable. Safety and respect are deserved to everybody read more

Hadn't been in a few years because of covid but went today. The rating is for the front desk staff. We were unaware that they have this new terrible system where you can only buy tickets online through the parks and rec website and you can no longer just walk up and swipe a card or give them cash, which is ridiculous. You have to give them your email and personal info to create an account to be able to buy tickets. This is extremely annoying and inconvenient especially when you're trying to do this in front of the building with no wifi and the website is having trouble loading. And all that just to swim for the day. There was a little girl out front crying because she had money for the ticket but couldn't get in because of this system and had to wait for her mom to come back to do it online. So, once we finally get the tickets on our phones I just mention to the lady like "man that was pretty inconvenient why aren't they able to sell tickets at the front anymore?" Just expecting like a short explanation and a 'sorry for the inconvenience' type deal. But get this. She just completely ignored us. She just took my phone and scanned the tickets in and didn't say a word to us when she clearly heard me ask her. So then my girlfriend just said "oh and for some reason it only gave him the discount and not me even though we have the same address we live together" (expecting them to do something about it) and her and another lady at the front still just didn't say a single word and ignored us. And I was just like... ummm... okay..???? Like what the hell??? It was a terrible start to what's supposed to be a fun day at the pool. Really bugged us for the rest of the time we were there. We weren't being difficult or rude at all we were just talking and asking questions while checking in. Why in the world were their actions so rude and disrespectful. A nicely managed water park that opened in 2008, so it's almost still brand new. Life guards swarmed all around, which is great because there are plenty of little ones at this location due to the fantastic kids pool area. The lazy river was probably my favorite, though during peak usage it did get crowded... but on a 95 degree August day, I can't say I was surprised. The older kids kind of ruled the large pool area, jumping, diving and flipping off the sides into the deep end (never seen that before). But I was still able to tread water in a dedicated location... until they closed the deep end for diving (off the two boards). That went on for maybe half an hour (long enough for me to lose interest and head back to the river). There are some dedicated shady areas, but you have to be one of the first ones in the doors to get those. The park opens at noon, too, so definitely wear your sunscreen! read more

Summit waves is the worst water park in missouri and quite possibly the worst in the world. not only is it nasty and you literally see the piss in the pool it is filled with trash and bodily fluids not to mention the life guards are so rude. the one working the water slides attitude was so bad she was basically telling me to drown myself with her actions. lastly, me and my friend where there and sure her butt cheeks were out a little but no more then average, the lifeguard said we had to leave because we got complaints but we know it was just her. clearly she can't handle a thick booty. she's probably jealous. even that she still didn't have to tell us to leave. just because everyone else there wants to look like a washed up fish doesn't mean i have too. read more

How I wish I could give it zero stars. First of all, there was feces in the women's locker room on the ground. I quite literally almost stepped in it. Secondly, there is little to no staff working there which emphasizes how they feel on safety. The reviews that people are posting are ridiculous. This place is great. If you are comparing it to oceans of fun than you are stupid. This place is only seven dollars to get in not sixty. So if you are going to compare than compare apples to apples. And for the one that said go to Super Splash. Why would I want to go to Raytown when this is in Lee's Summit and built for Lee's Summit residents. And to complain about to many life guards. Is there such a thing? I guess if you are there to act like an asshat there is. This place is clean, well managed and has good concessions. You can also bring in your own food and drink. They have a great kids area as well as two a bigger pool with diving boards. They also have to giant slides. read more

Nice water park, kids will enjoy their day here. Don't compare this to Oceans or other much larger parks, it's not meant to be a competitor- it's meant to be a small family park where you can come and enjoy your day without paying the &40-$50 of other parks. There's plenty of chairs, get there early to grab an umbrella. You can bring in your own cooler with drinks and food. There's a couple large water slides, a kids play area with dump buckets, lazy river, and full size lap pool. read more

If you like to be bothered every 5 minutes by one of the 100 staff on duty than this place is for you!. First they search your bags. My 2 year old son wasn't allowed to bring in his water wings. There are children's slides that my son wanted me to go down with him and that wasn't allowed (understandable), but when there are two slides that run parallel and I'm not allowed to go next to him and hold his hand on separate slides I think its a little overkill. Your better off filling your bathtub really full and putting your son in it. If your trying to take you kids to enjoy some water slides then don't go here, unless your prepared to throw him down the slide by him self or want to watch from the side! For 3$ more you can go to oceans of fun, its well worth it. read more

This place in is fun in the summer when you have nothing else to do. Just get a group of friends and go it's pretty fun! But I wish it was bigger. The lifeguards piss me off though. They are very very strict that's the thing I hate most about the place. In the summer they have a thing called teen night for all teens and sometimes they are fun they get crazy and have a Dj there on those nights. But I was really mad one time when some of the lifeguards were fighting and yelling at us being really disrespectful to me and my friends. It started to lightening and they closed the park and didn't give us our money back. We were all mad . They gave us a free pass for next time but ehh. read more

This is the last Monday night pool party at Lee's Summit Waves... 8:30 - 10:30 pm, so We had to make an appearance. Lots of fun for the entire and the pool parties are very affordable. I really like taking my grand children to this park. The one thing I don't like is I don't swim when I take my grand children because I need to watch them, but everyone pays regardless... Swimming or not! If you must charge just charge a small fee. read more

I have been here many times. It'd a good little neighborhood place to go to. They have decent prices as far as food goes, but it was not very tasty. I got a cheeseburger, fries and a drink. It was a meal and coat me about six dollars. I tasted one of the fries upon receiving it and it tasted like rubber and they were burned. I got the clerk to make a fresh batch, but they were only moderately better. The cheeseburger was fairly small and bland. Felt like a bad prepackaged patty. We went during peak hours, so the tubes were all taken, but we just swam without them. The bathrooms were pretty gross. There were areas on the floor that were dark and stained. Not good for the bathroom. The lifeguards were friendly. Some people say strict, but that's good for water safety. The slides are fun. The red goes faster than the yellow. As a whole, its alright for a neighborhood thing. Don't expect too much. If you can find better, do it. read more
