It made the whole process so much easier. We hired Sylvia for our daughter's 18th birthday party for about 25 people, and everything was perfect. They came early in the morning on the day of the event and set everything up, then came back about an hour before the party started with the food. Everything was right on time and looked amazing. The food was delicious as well, and we had plenty of leftovers. Not one complaint about the food, and these were 18-year-old girls, so that says a lot! We also had a photo booth and the telephone where the girls could leave private messages for the birthday girl. That was such a fun and special touch and ended up being one of my favorite things. Aesthetically, everything looked beautiful, and I'll add some pictures so you can see for yourself. Everyone we worked with from Sylvia's company was professional, friendly, and very efficient. At one point, the wind knocked over some of the photo booth decorations, and they came over right away and fixed everything without us even having to worry about it. One other thing I loved about working with Sylvia is that she is a Navy veteran. Daniel ran our annual fundraiser at Kona Kai resort flawlessly. He was a joy to work with before and during the event. Both the live band and DJ found him knowledgeable and easy to work with. Daniel provided speakers, 2 projectors, 2 screens, and lighting. He operated our auction slides and other presentation material without problems. We were going to use Kona Kai's Audio visual team but they were hard to get ahold of and never gave clear prices (which worried me). Our event raised over $130,000 and it was with the wonderful help of AV Bliss. We would definitely use him for future events and I would use him for personal ones as well. He would be great for weddings and big celebrations.

I called and was able to get an appt THE SAME DAY and at the time I requested. She let us play with a variety of options and we could have even looked at different table setting and cutlery. We knew we wanted something simple but they really let you take the time to mix and match. "Good Morning Antonia, Just wanted to apologize for the frustration this morning with your heater order, the last thing we want to do is be a headache with event rentals - I will briefly explain a couple of things while we refund your order. It's true that we do have a 100% cancellation policy in place for same-day orders, many places do, and that's simply because many of these are resource-heavy and yet we enjoy fulfilling last-minute needs where needed. Even though it takes a large number of resources and overhead to implement, we know offering same-day services are crucial to events at times. We stop warehouse production in any department necessary, we recall a driver to come gather the new order, and we re-route them back on the road, hopefully balancing other orders already on the schedule.....all in an effort accomodate events in this great city. Secondarily, and more importantly - this cancellation policy will be immediately looked at internally because we should have some flexibility with it. Preparing a rush order for heaters does not consume the same resources as preparing a new order for tents, tables, linen, or cooking equipment - I understand that, and Dorca was simply doing what is asked of her. But this situation brings a good point to mind - when/how/where should we implement some flexibility and can we communicate it better. We will learn.
