This place was a chance stop on my way to the Trevi fountain. I was in my last few days in Italy…read moreand was worried I had not shipped enough goods back home! I dropped in here to ask if they shipped wine to the US. They said they were more than happy to and provided me with a price list, which I thought was more than reasonable. I first started off tasting some of their truffle goods. They had several different forms and flavorings. From a truffle creme to truffle carpaccio in sunflower oil, there were so many options and not enough room in my luggage. In addition to these they had pastas, crackers, and more to compliment whatever you finally decided upon.
I then moved back to the other side of the shop for the wine. Raquel was the one giving me samples and great advice on the bottles to pick based on my preferences. She kept saying she was not as knowledgeable as a few others in the shop, but she answered all of the questions I had. She helped me fill out the form for shipping and that was it. Fast forward about 2 weeks later and all of my stuff arrives at more doorstep. Everything was packed snugly and there were no casualties along the way. I was beyond happy and excited to receive everything so fast. My only complaint is that I should have ordered more! :) I highly recommend this place for your gifting needs!
