Chip got back to us quickly, said the damage looked pretty bad, and he would need to see it before he could put together the repair estimate. I dropped the boat off and Chip got back quickly via email, with numerous pictures of all the visible damage especially under the boat. The impact caused extensive cracks radiating several feet beyond the fiberglass damage. Unfortunately, the repair estimate was more than we had thought, and our insurance told us it would be totaled. Chip had stored our boat for a couple weeks, and even though I offered to pay him for his time, he refused.
