The girls are so creative when it comes to styling their photo shoots. If you have no clue what or where you what the photos to be, they instantly swoop in with props, poses, scenery, etc. For our photo shoot, they attempted to get shots of my son in those faux denim diapers. Quite entertaining to watch! And brought him a piece of birthday cake, so thoughtful! Their style of photography is definitely not traditional, so if you are looking for a photo of you and your kids all sitting prim and proper with collared shirts in front of one of those fake landscape scenes, then this is not the place for you! :) Most know Ampersand for their phenomenal wedding photography, which I have seen and is quite breathtaking. But they really have the patience and spunky character to capture the moment with an impatient toddler too. Photos were very easy to view from a website link, and super easy to order; as well. Very convenient way for me yo share with family and let them decide if they wanted to order any and what size. There were so many photo options, I did get a little confused but Frannie was happy to explain what I was looking at. Looking forward to hiring them again soon! I now have another little one, and am looking forward to his first professional photo shoot, as well as, an updated photo of our growing family.

Nichole taught me how to create a story/vision board for the brand. She quickly sent me a first draft of a logo, it was beyond expectation! She has a talent of taking what you say and turning it into a masterpiece. We then booked a branding photoshoot. The pictures turned out absolutely perfect and I was so proud of each photo she took. It's like she was able to photograph my heart and soul. These images have been absolutely perfect for all of my social media, flyers, cards, and emails. Nichole also taught me all about social media content creation, how to caption posts, hashtags to use, scheduling posts, and many other tips and tricks! Erin and her make-up artist Lindsey are great and both are very talented. Erin went out of her way to meet with me, chat with me and went above and beyond to schedule me for a shoot and present my digital images to me so that everything could be completed on time. She was very respectful of my needs. One example: I am not a huge fan of the metallic look for prints, which is what she normally prints, and she said it would be no problem to print my images with a regular finish, but of the same high quality. (which, btw, her prints are fantastic, very high quality). I did quite a bit of research about Boudoir photographers in the area, and was given the names of a few other professional photographers who are not listed via a standard google search (photo shoot, models etc) and ultimately decided in Erin b/c: 1. Since I am not a model, I wanted someone who is used to working with people who are less comfortable in front of a camera. 2. I was able to get hair and make-up done on site and by someone who is used to doing hair and make-upfor photo shoots. 3. Once I narrowed it down to a photographer like Erin (someone who does a lot of private shoots: weddings, families, babies etc) I noticed that in all of her pics on her website, the clients looked extremely relaxed and comfortable. That was ultimately the deciding factor. I highly recommend Erin, and if you have a chance, visit her at her studio, she has some amazing images there to view as well.

Maija was very creative with our sessions and she was great at getting real and candid looking shots even though we are far from experienced in front of the camera. Maija really took the time to get to know us and she was great a listening and filing away small things that we would say. My wife and I put a lot of effort into doing a lot of the decorations in our wedding ourselves and Maija made sure to get really cool shots of the work that we did and she just picked that up from our conversations.
