I had my wool area rug cleaned and I am very happy with the results. The carpet looks like new, even the cream coloured stripes are cream coloured once again. The carpet smells fresh and not like chemicals, and is very fluffed up. The price was great considering they came to pick up the area rug and delivered it back, over forty dollars cheaper than the many other companies I had called prior to choosing this company. They price their service by the accessible square foot (i.e., they don't count the square feet under the bed, for instance). A little pricey: Their minimum cost is $225 with ScotchGuarding ($150 without). The fellow who came in to do my carpets was friendly enough (why don't carpet-cleaning people remove their shoes when they do work?) but he didn't move any of the small items out of the way. For instance, I had a very light, small bedside lamp. He just cleaned around it. I didn't notice until after he'd emptied his tank and taken things apart. I kind of wish he'd have asked me to look at the work BEFORE he'd shut everything down. At this point he said it was too late, he couldn't clean that area because it would make him late to the next appointment. He also didn't have the ScotchGuard I'd asked for on hand (he said he'd given his supply to a colleague earlier in the day). So it required a second trip back to ScotchGuard the place. He also, at my request, cleaned the carpet under the items he didn't move. He did, for the record, immediately clean up some fresh cat barf, which was probably outside of what he needed to. I'll probably find another vendor for carpet cleaning in the future. read more

Aero Carpet Services did a fantastic job cleaning my persian rug as well as a small wool area rug. The persian rug hadn't been cleaned for over 10 years and came out looking like new. The fringe had frayed and discoloured and Aero arranged for the fringe to be completely replaced. The rug, which is almost 30 years old, looks like it was just purchased yesterday. The small wool area rug, which was a few years old and had never been professionally cleaned, also came back looking like new. I really appreciated the pick up and delivery service as well as the very reasonable cost. I will definitely use Aero again and would highly recommend them. read more

My mom frequently uses them whenever she gets her carpets cleaned. I live in her basement and use another company, however, the other day Aero had to come in and do some steam cleaning as part of an insurance claim due to a flood. I was generally pleased with the work that they did. Not as awesome as my preferred regular cleaner, however, they got 95% of the stains out. The guy who came over to the house was really polite and helpful. He went the extra mile for us which was really appreciated. They are pricey generally speaking as they charge by the square foot. I always get shocked when I see my mom's bill, however, she isn't ready to change to my guy yet. My mom stays with these guys based on the customer service which I will admit is better than most I have seen in the industry. read more

They are very careful, do a beautiful , custom job and they have gotten many stains out of my carpets and furniture-- many that I thought were hopeless! I discovered some clothing moths had gotten into my stored heirloom Persian rug. I'm glad I phoned Aero and Donna was very helpful and understanding of my horror and helplessness. The rug was small enough for me to wrap up and take in right away so I did. They froze it for a week or two, cleaned it thoroughly and treated it with something that moths wouldn't go near for a year. In the end there are a few eaten spots, but I'm still able to use it placed strategically. I'm pleased with their service and fair price on this job. Now I know how to store wool rugs properly too. Discovering that the technician managed to damage irreplaceable glass in a 75 year old cabinet I had stressed my concern for before he began cleaning was very upsetting. I was also surprised when I used my own cleaning solution after the carpet was cleaned and managed to get out the remaining spoiled spots. When I called Aero I was taken back by the manager's nasty manner and means of handling this situation. What I feel after this experience is regret. Customer Service and Conflict Resolution goes long way in business. Handling customers in a defensive and critical manner does not create recommendations or bring return business. read more

I used Aero recently to clean three expensive area rugs. Although the receptionist, Dionne, was very pleasant and efficient, the establishment otherwise was disorganized and unprofessional. All three carpets came out less-than-clean, although they were only one year old. I sent one back for re-cleaning and it came back with an obvious rip and had to be returned for repairs! I was unhappy with the service and with the lack of communication. This business no longer deserves its good reputation. read more

I had Aero Carpet come to clean 2 upholstered chairs in June 2016. Their product ruined them, they now have orange streaks throughout. The owner came to see them and admitted it was a product they're using that caused the reaction. He said he would take responsibility for their mistake and replace them or re-upholster, but he wanted one more person to work on them first. The other technician also had no luck, and so in August 2016 they took my chairs to their shop to work on them. They are still not better. They asked for original receipts and for me to do the leg work to get the cost to re-upholster. I have done both. I have also found chairs that are similar that could replace them. I call them regularly (multiple times a week) and neither the owner or Donna, the manager, will take my call, return my call, or my emails. I would like my chairs back! And I would like them repaired. I am also out the original cost in June to have then "cleaned". It is now October - 4 months and no chairs and no answers. read more

I've used Aero for several years but this year, their service was substandard and incomplete. The technician was a lovely person, but he was lazy in his approach to cleaning thoroughly. In past years they cleaned beneath our very high bed stand -- I can get an upright vacuum under most of the frame -- but the technician cleaned only up to the edge of the frame, not even trying to get underneath. Even Sears cleans beneath the bed! I'd never had a cleaner ignore this part of the area to be cleaned. And, I moved a plant from a corner for cleaning, but the technician just cleaned around where the plant had been moved to, right in the middle of a high traffic area. He cheerfully cleaned under it when I pointed it out, but I shouldn't have had to look over his shoulder. I realized too late that that is what I needed to do. He didn't clean between some pieces of furniture (between a chair and a desk, for eg.). Polite complaints to the company were received with apathy, and a follow-up letter to the company was ignored. My mother-in-law, who recommended them to us, also won't use them again; she's noted a decline in their performance, as well. Will not use Aero again. A shame. read more

After being a fan of this company for several years, they have totally messed up and the worst thing is that they don't care. Zero follow up. I guess they don't need repeat clients that have recommended them to others. Just totally lost me. Donna should not be allowed to even deal with a client let alone a carpet. She is always in transit to Coquitlam, away from the phone or whatever!! They have had my custom carpet since September, shrunk it and now it is my problem that they are so busy they cannot fix it until another 8 weeks? Completely unacceptable. You have to laugh! When they delivered it after the first cleaning, it was two inches by two inches smaller than when I gave it to them. They thought it would be ok to cut the underlay to match the new smaller carpet. How dumb and beyond stupid. . Dont they measure a carpet when they receive it and try and deliver the same size back to you? No Not this company. I am so annoyed with them and have tried to have the owner "JIM" get back to me. Still waiting. read more

i operate a small business and use their services for rug cleaning for my customers and have been doing so for the last 4 years until recently their customer service just went downhill. 3 times it has happened when the rugs were not returned on time and calls to them stated we will call you back or the "General Manager" will call you back. They do not return calls or provide any updates. This has resulted in a loss of business and now I have found another cleaning company. Their General Manager is a very rude and arrogant person who simply stated if you are not happy, find another cleaner. My rugs were returned 6 weeks later when the turn around time is one week and when I asked for a discount as I had to give the same to my customer, I was told no.Not only i lost money but also the customer. My last rug was returned uncleaned after 4 weeks with no explanation. The staff refuses to put me talk to the owner as they have instruction from the General Manager to do so. I will never be using their services or recommend anyone to do so. read more
