The other day upon arriving at the airport and about to pay my driver, I realized I left my wallet at home. I was frustrated, upset and didn't even know if I could get on my flight without photo ID. My driver Brar (Car 33), was extremely understanding and sympathetic. Rather than adding to my stress, he simply handed me his card and asked me to call Head Office and tell them what happened. People with Service animals beware. I was at Pearson Airport with my Service Dog and 2 Aerofleet drivers refused to give us a ride to the city. I have had this problem before with them and complained to Transport Canada. The drivers, though they know they are not allowed to refuse Service Animals, don't seem to care. They simply drive off. It is illegal to discriminate on the basis of disability! read more

Although the flat rate is nice and the cars are generally in good condition, many drivers may think that Toronto is in India or Pakistan. On a returning trip from Pearson one of them was eating seeds while driving recklessly, and the flat rate will usually turn into a negotiated charge when they see cash. and of course, the receipt becomes unavailable due to technical faults - pocket money for oriental style business hacks. read more

Would give a negative star if yelp permits. Sometimes I feel sorry for the normal taxi drivers when I take uber. Because I know how much they have suffered since the rise of such platforms. But now, I don't even feel a pinch of sorry. Why would I pay more for a service that do not even meet my needs? That was how much Aerofleet has made an impact on me. Yesterday, at the airport, i asked this driver from Aerofleet how much to pay to get to Dufferin mall. So my family who just reached Toronto to visit me, agreed to take it. At first I told the driver, Dufferin mall. So he asked where that was? So I said it's the one near Dufferin subway station. (How much more explicit can I go). He said would I like to go to a mall nearer, so I said no, it's fine. Our accommodation is near Dufferin mall. Next thing he said - no, I just thought you might want to go to a mall nearer. (Establishing the fact that we are already heading towards Dufferin mall.) so I said No, we are going Dufferin mall. To our surprise, we reached at Yorkdale mall. In his defense, he said he asked me three times, and I said Yorkdale. Not once, have I ever uttered the word - Yorkdale. My family was there and they also understood that we were heading towards Dufferin. And they certainly have not heard me saying Yorkdale at all. Next he said, it is because he thought Yorkdale will be cheaper for us. 1. do not act smart as a driver. please. You have no idea what plans passengers have in mind. Your intention is good but please, brush up on your communication skills. 2. Yorkdale is on Dufferin street. I can see why miscommunication occurred. but for the fact that I said Dufferin mall. There is only one Dufferin mall. And Dufferin mall is the only one that is near Dufferin subway station. (Yorkdale is near Yorkdale station duh) 3. The price to Dufferin mall is 45 (and I say this because I have taken a cab from Airport to Dufferin station before) and the price to Yorkdale is also 45.... It does not make any economic sense the claim that he was making about yorkdale being nearer and cheaper. It only made sense to him because he get the same amount for going to somewhere nearer. Thus, lesser 4. WORST PART OF IT ALLL - my sister suggested this is a miscommunication and if we could come to a compromise, meaning we only pay half of the amount. HE DEMANDED 45. Because my family is here for traveling, we did not want to waste any time that we already have with this driver, We reluctantly paid an unjustified amount of 45. Which we still have to take another uber cab to our destination. I would really have gone to the police, really. 5. Aerofleet has been a misrepresentation of public taxis and on top of that, a misrepresentation of the service sector in Toronto. P.S. This driver plate number is BPVK 345. read more

They did not show up at the time I scheduled to be taken to the airport. After waiting 11 minutes, I called and they claimed it was not recorded in their system despite me calling the day before, and despite the fact that I am in their system and have used their service for many years. They claimed it was not scheduled. Why would I have trust in this service when I needed to be taken to the airport on time and expected they would be responsible and reliable as they have before? Because they used to be. The call-taker said she would have to dispatch someone who was available, which would take an uncertain amount of time. In panic, I had to drive myself in early morning rush-hour Toronto traffic, the very stress I wanted to avoid. When they hire such incompetent staff, you have no reassurance you will make it on time. Just got to our hotel in Toronto, after what was one of the worst taxi rides I have ever had - and I live in Bangkok! The driver was appalling, distracted by things not on the road and in his bag on his seat, speeding, tail gating, changing lanes solely to avoid crashing into cars ahead, we had to clutch the handles on the doors not to be thrown into each other as he turned. What is worst, he drove with his left foot on the brake and right foot on the accelerator at all times and pushed both pedals as though he was pumping for water - three times I almost had to get him to pull over because I thought I was going to be sick. I am only just now recovering from car sickness. Terrible. read more

I've been using Aerofleet twice a week for the past 20 years. Their town cars are clean and they show up on time. They have hundreds of cars at Pearson so there is no more than a five minute wait at the airport. read more

We used Aerofleet last night to drive us from Mississauga to downtown Toronto. I was a little nervous about using them, as some of the reviews were not great. The driver arrived at 5:00 pm to pick us up, which was early, but luckily it was because traffic was terrible. He got us to our restaurant exactly on time for a 6 pm reservation. After the play we attended, the driver called my cell and picked us up right outside the theatre. My theory is that some people are very quick to write a negative review but don't always take the time to write a positive one. Both cars were spotlessly clean, and the drivers were very polite and helpful. I would use them again and recommend them to friends. Thanks Aerofleet. read more

On September 4 2010 we called for a taxi to go to the airport. The driver arrived and we loaded up. I had to drop off my car 4 blocks away, which was on the way to the airport. I dropped it off and got right in. The driver went past Brown's Line to catch the 427 and I asked him where he was going. I told him he had passed the 427and he had to turn around and he got all frustrated. On the way he called in that he had to make another stop and they told him to charge another $10. He made it sound that he went out of his way for this. I got mad and told him that I would never use this company again and he said 'THAT WOULD BE GREAT'. REALLY!!!!!!!! We got to the airport, paid him, obviously didn't tip him and we left. When I returned, I called to talk to a manager and told him the situation. He said he would look into it and call me back. He never called back. I own a business, so if my staff was this rude, I would certainly deal with the situation, and return the customers call. I will never be using Aerofleet again, although I have been using them for at least 7 years. read more

I took this company's cab from Airport to my home. The driver was quite rude to start with then things get worse. When I asked him for a receipt printed from the meter (I honestly don't know that it was flat rate--he could simply and nicely explain that to me--instead he started insulting me). I picked up a name card from the back of the front seat and called their toll free number to verify--he started yelling and swearing. I was extremely mad. I took pictures of the car and him. Then he came in front of my house and took picture of my house and me. I called the customer toll free number to complain. They asked me to call the police--should they do something about it instead asking me to call the police? So this is the worse travel experience with cab ever. (As an Aircanada elite member, I had my fair share of travel. As I live in Toronto, normally someone would pick me up or I will take Limou so I never used Aerofleet before. I just finished my trip to New York and Seattle. All of them use meter. So I don't think it is that stupid to ask him. ) Overall, it was a really awful experience. This cab driver was useless and rude ( Taxi ID # 035). He seemed to have no clue where he was going. He told me that the fare from the airport to my hotel would be $24.00. I got to my hotel and he then told me that it was $34.00. When I explained that I had heard him say $24.00 ( he had a heavy accent) he became extremely rude and told me that the fares are on the internet. When i told him that i would be filing a complaint with the taxi cab board he told me to go ahead. Clearly Mississauga is a lawless town where cab drivers can behave however they want without consequence. I would not use this cab company again. read more

Aerofleet Taxi comes 3.00 AM in the morning today. to pickup passengers . He parks the car on the main road and wait. I politely told him to move the car to the driveway and passengers are in the basement to go and knock the door. He said and I quote " NO. I will wait in my car". I was waiting for about 5 minutes. he did not move. He was still inside the car. I go and take the plate number. . Then he ask me whether he should wait in the car. I told him he should go and help the passengers. then he asks me "whats your problem". I told him my problem was and I quote " You are not doing your job" YOur driver sat down like a king in the car parked on the MAIN ROAD..He put the passengers in grave danger parking in the main road. I asked him to park the TAXI (Aerofleet!!!!!!) on the driveway of the house. He did not do it. I believe his duties includes: 1. Carry packages and luggage of the passengers. 2. Help passengers get in and out of car. 3. Pick up and throw away debris from passengers. I hope Aerofleet company would train these kinds of thugsto be a chauffer. Now you know why UBER is popular. Disappointed with the taxi service. Just to go to International Centre from the airport costs $27 but I didn't pay that, I paid $20, it's a ripoff as compared to what I paid about 6 bucks last time. This guy is an Arab looking, slim and with glasses. We had an argument. He also had us locked in when I told him to let us out but he kept on going further but I wish I knew his name or license plate. The black man who worked at the airport at the booth had the badge number "9920" and he was the one who explained to this driver before we all got in. I would not recommend! I'm so terribly distraught.. had been using aerofleet's services for a while until i had a nasty encounter with a driver who broke my suitcase handle repented, gave me money and then came and threatened me to have this money back. my child started to cry at the raised voice and threats hurled at me. Fearing for my safety i gave him his money back told him i would never use aerofleet's services, to which he said " i dont care" !! manager did return my call but did nothing to follow up. I vow never to use these services again!!! I have never in my life encountered such rudeness and dishonesty and then from management, not a care in the world about service and etiquette. read more

This is the second time in two months that they just didn't show up for bookings done the day before and confirmed the day of....and they kept insisting the driver was on their way and no one ever showed up! After twenty years of totally reliable service from our home, something has changed. I've used Aerofleet for several years and they've been okay. However, my last experience has convinced me to switch car services and i hope it does the same for you. i took Car #32 from the airport to downtown. The driver rode the accelerator and the brake all the way. i was nauseous by the time i got home and worried for my safety. i suggested to the driver that he drive a little more calmly and he just ignored me. This is not what i am concerned about. The WORST part was when i contact the company to let them know my concerns about their driver. At first they said they didn't know who the driver was and tried to blow me off. When i clarified the information for them, they didn't bother to reply. I followed up again and asked if they were planning to reply and i got no answer. All i wanted was an apology and a message that they had spoken with the driver. I got NOTHING. When a company cares that little about it's customers, i can find a new company and i would suggest you do too. read more

used Aerofleet from Agincourt to airport - had driver 365 - this driver should not be part of the staff or working as a driver at all - the trip was so upsetting that I am submitting this review with hopes that he is given his walking papers - he phoned 2 times to let us know he was there and waiting - he was 15 minutes early - his driving was erratic - his foot would hit the gas pedal - next second the brake - to the point of making me feel sea sick - too many lane changes - changed lanes too sharply - thought he was driving the Indie 500 - dropped off at the wrong WestJet departure - told him we were flying domestic - got dropped off at international - itched himself on his arms and face the complete trip - When I needed air - and rolled my window down the driver told me to roll my window up - The trip was one I would never even ask anyone to repeat - read more
