He's efficient but not rude and he knows what he's doing. I always come in the morning before the rush, so I get to see him after waiting only about 10 minutes.

Dr. Fung is one of the worst doctors I've ever had. He does the bare minimum only. If you need…read moreadditional things done, like forms, he will question the need in order to avoid more work. I desperately needed my disability form filled out and he wouldn't even look at it, claiming that I wasn't sick enough. Another doctor looked at my case and did it no problem, and questioned why Dr. Fung wouldn't do it. He is not a doctor who goes the extra mile for his patients. I find his attitude cold and apathetic. Maybe that's because he runs a cosmetic practice (botox, etc.) in another part of town so his interests are more focused elsewhere. I was so relieved when I found a new doctor who actually took the time needed to understand the complexities of my case. Dr. Fung in the end was very apathetic, in my opinion, but then so are most MDs. He's not personable at all and I found it impossible to establish a doctor-patient rapport with him that provided space for me to express my needs adequately. He put up many walls and blocked communication when I tried to express the importance of my health choices. He would not grant me avenues to second opinions or respect my right to choose the kind of care that I wanted. Once he decided what was "best", I had to accept it or nothing at all. This is not the right way to treat patients and it's ethically questionable. It's my body and my sovereignty. Beware of this doctor. He's not open minded and if you're looking to explore options, he will put up walls for ideological or financial reasons.
