In pain and tired, I tried this place. Came in for an hour and stayed for 90 minutes. I was hoping for bone-crushing deep tissue, which Danielle couldn't deliver - for a reason. She wanted to know WHAT was hurting/in need of help. And focused on what the body craved in a silent dialogue between her and my aching bones. I woke up this morning with ZERO sciatica and shoulder pain. Using very interesting techniques, and applying heat and COLD, I don't know WHAT she did or how she did it, but she brought it. They offer spa services and memberships to make the "get your health in order massage fix" approachable. As they love on you like they've known you your entire life. Like sisters in a special group. Then Covid hit and the business was closed for a year. Last year I still didnt feel comfortable enough to be in such close proximity to someone leaning over my face so I waited until now to redeem my certificate. The owner said her rates have gone up to $150 and that I would have to pay the extra to cover the increase which in my opinion is unethical. She couldn't even tell me how much my mom paid for my certificate but my sisters and I thought $100. She made a big deal about it and said it would take her a long time to find the price! Then she said she isn't even taking new clients ! I asked for the $100 back and she wouldn't give it to me . She said "I'm too old to argue and don't feel I have to explain my price increase. I stand by my pricing". She had no options for me to resolve the situation and by then her attitude was so toxic I just left and lost the gift my mother offered me. Very disappointing experience. Lousy attitude and no compassion.
