Hubby & I stayed six nights here for our 10th Anniversary. We took the Leonardo Express to Termini (Rome's major train & bus hub) and then we took the metro four stops to our hotel. This guest house is on line A & there are lots of small markets, restaurants & all kinds of stores nearby.
The room had a mini fridge, a coffee maker & kettle. Our room was very nice & exactly as the pictures showed on the website. The room is listed as a king size bed but I think by North American standards it would be a queen size bed. Europe's bed sizes differ so please take that into account when you book a hotel room. There is a small table with two chairs in the room & toiletries in the bathroom. In the bathroom there is a rain shower head with a hand held shower attachment as well. There is a bidet, regular toilet, & one big sink. On the wall is a heated towel rack that can also double as drying rack. We could hear some street noises in our room but not much. Our room didn't have any windows so that is probably why.
Wifi is included in the room & they can also arrange a car pick up from the airport if you prefer to do that. Their rate is reasonable compared to what you might get charged if you grab a taxi directly from the airport.
Frederico is the hotel host when we arrived. You must press the button at the gate when you arrive at the address. Or you can call him directly. He will open the gate for you. You go up a flight of stairs & can check in at the office. Frederico & the cleaning ladies are so very helpful. Whenever we had questions we would just ask & they were so friendly & nice. The terrace outside our hotel room is lovely. Be aware that many people in Rome smoke so the smokers are out there sometimes. I'm allergic to smoke so I stay away when the smokers are there.
Anyway I would definitely stay at this guest house again. Such a great & convenient location. Because you're not in the city center all the stores around are reasonable prices. Same goes for the restaurants. There is an amazing restaurant just down the street from this hotel called Sapori & Parole. They have a killer buffet in the evenings & their a la cart menu for dinner is great as well. read more
