" you've only been sick two days I don't need to check.. even if you don't take the medicine I'm prescribing you should be fine." Later that night at 11pm, I'm in the ER. They give me a steroids shot because my throat was so swollen and give me medications right away for my infection and prescribe me eye drops as well. So no. Not a good doctor at all. Will never be going back. Hope they do something about this since the ER Dr did ask who I went to see earlier that day.

We found out in emergency he had cancer. He died 6 months later. Since my husband's insurance plan was an HMO we had to have each specialist visit approved by Dr. Sun. He rarely approved and when we went to his office to speak to him when my husband was barely walking he did not come out. He never checked on him during the entire six months. I would not recommend this doctor. He does not care about his patients and due to negligence, my husband had stage 4 cancer and had trouble getting the care he needed because Dr. Sun didn't take the time to be responsible and approve other providers in a timely basis. In 2018 she mentioned that she felt a fibroid during my annual well women's exam. She said they were common and since I wasn't having any issues, it was nothing to worry about. Well, over the years my stomach got increasingly larger to the point I was concerned something was wrong. In 2023 I asked for an ultrasound and while getting my ultrasound I asked the tech if she saw any fibroids. She looked at me with shock and said "is this your first ultrasound. I got the results I had 6 fibroids and several of them were large. I was confused by the results, and it wasn't even sure what fibroids were exactly. Now fast forward 2025 and I'm trying to get them removed, Dr. Baird said the surgery was "out of her wheelhouse" and every doctor I've met with is recommending a hysterectomy. I haven't even had a child yet and this is heartbreaking for me. Please don't let her downplay your fibroids. Ask for an ultrasound every year and keep track of the size. Fibroids 5cm and up is getting large and may need removal. I wish she would have monitored me more. There is no way she was palpating my abdomen all those years and did feel how large the fibroids were getting.

She truly cares about her patients and their babies and it shows! If you are thinking about which doctor to see at TWH, I highly recommend her and her staff. My appointment was at 1 but I left dr kapoor a office at 2:30 . It was not busy either . I will not be going back there. Also , the staff who took my vitals was sweet and the only nice person there but my BP was taken incorrectly, my legs were crossed and my arm was not at the level of my heart and she was talking to me while it was pumping up which therefore led to an incorrect high reading. She was the only nice person there but she needed help. I don't want to see a doctor whose office staff is horrible.
