People who have bad experiences are always the first to jump online to leave a bad review.) I went in today to be seen for a toe break over a month ago that hasn't resolved on its own, simply because I haven't been able to rest/elevate and Ice as much as I should have. Front desk was "meh," but doctor was knowledgeable. Once in the exam room, I was given a price that was a bit higher than the price quoted on the phone (x-rays). I expressed my disappointment and was met by the Clinic Manager, who explained that there were several different types, and they were not explained over the phone. She was GREAT. Empathetic and knowledgeable. I applaud that she sees human beings at their worst, and manages to talk people down from the ledge on a regular basis. I was x-rayed, informed, and even received a DVD copy of the x-ray. I 100% recommend this urgent care, and will return.... if I must! read more

The staff were all kind and helpful and helped me check in as they saw that I was not feeling well and I needed assistance. I really appreciated that because I was not thinking at my best. Brian Jammel saw me and was very empathetic and caring. He recommended a medication and said this would immediately help with the symptoms and make me feel better. He offered a prescription card through Pfizer and said there were times insurance didn't cover the medication and to use this card if I needed it. I really appreciated this because I would not of had the funds to pay out-of-pocket for that medication. As it turned out I needed the card as my insurance did not cover it. So thank you so much for that. Brian was very caring and made sure I didn't have any questions before I left and took very good care of me.  I highly recommend this  urgent care. read more

Brian Jammel is the G.O.A.T. Excellent staff. Efficient care. Prompt, thorough, and unimpeded. Been here multiple times for a multitude of issues. Each time it was friendly, professional, and exceptional teamwork. Urgent care that is urgent and caring. Something they aren't able to do, few and far between, they have the recommendation for it. Amazing! On two separate occasions , after two failed attempts (closed during their listed business hours) at a new urgent care in Mooresville, I ended up here 20 minutes before they closed last night. I called ahead, spoke to the very nice front end staff, and she assured me they wouldn't turn me away, even though it was close to closing. The experience was nothing less than exceptional, and a bonus was thankfully, there was no wait!! This will definitely be where I go in the future. I also appreciate that you're seen by an actual M D, and not a PA. I am OK with a PA in most instances, but when it's an urgent matter, I do prefer an MD. This place was pristine inside! Paperwork process was simple and on my phone via a link, and after the visit, I even have access to the doctors notes for future if necessary. Very grateful I found this place in a moment of desperate need for my five year old. read more

Don't bother wasting your time here. I was the only person in the clinic with a scheduled appointment. They had trouble running my insurance and then had trouble running my credit card for balance due BEFORE I even saw the doctor. They needed a urine sample and I was told to use bathroom in the lobby waiting room and then they made me hold my urine specimen in the lobby until I was called back (Yuk). Doctor arrived 1 hour after my scheduled appointment and basically said they have to wait for lab results....really why did I have to wait another 25 minutes just for the doctor to tell me that. The overall vibe was negative and no one seamed to care. read more

My family has used AFC many times since it opened and we've always had a good experience. Dr. Montgomery is very personable and knowledgeable. He listens to what you have to say and considers all options. The nurses are nice and seem to truly care about you as a person. There was one time when we waited for an hour in the room having a Covid test. That was a long day but they were swamped and only had one doctor. There are good days, and bad days, just like any medical office. I would recommend and we will return. read more

I went to AFC Mooresville for a rapid coronavirus test. Quick service. Nurse was great, doctor was great. I would highly recommend!

What a process. So much for the days you walk and be seen. Lobby, car, lobby. Very slow for an urgent care. Doctor, a little stand-off-ish but came around. Just slow...and when you don't feel well slow is never good !!! read more

My son had an appointment last week. He had cold/sinus symptoms...coughing thick green mucus, no temp and could taste/smell. His goal was to get a zpac so he could get back to school/work. He told the person up front he did not want a Covid test. The person up from said OK, I will note that. My son gets to the back and does a strep test then the nurse insisted he allow her to stick the Covid test up his nose. It was quick, he told her just do it...so he did give her consent to do it. Dr came back in the room 5-10 later and said he tested negative for Covid. Dr's orders were to go get some mucinex and nose spray. So instead of my insurance being billed for a normal office visit, they billed it out as a Covid test/visit which cost my insurance company 5-10x. Dr/nurses have gotten drunk on Covid, cash cow for them. Not about a persons health anymore, it's all about the $$$. My son went elsewhere the next day and got the treatment he needed without being pressured to take a C19 test. I would not recommend this place of high margins/business to anyone. read more

Shut the door on me, before they were closed. Very rude. I really needed to see a provider tonight and I couldn't afford to go to a hospital. I have worked at an Urgent care before and locking the door on people before closing time is NOT standard practice. Never will be coming here again. read more

I am so thankful for this group of amazing providers tonight. I had a 4 year old who had a very likely broken wrist who was understandably in a lot of pain. The first urgent care told us 2-3 hours (even with her screaming in the lobby ) the emergency room said 2 hours.....thankfully we found AFC. They worked her in immediately. Everyone was soooo sweet with her. They confirmed her fractured wrist...got her a temp cast...and ready for an orthopedic appointment tomorrow for a full cast. Everyone from from desk to x-ray tech to doctor...so great. read more
