I was a patient of Dr Macasieb at Trinity Healthcare for near 20 years until he decided to get overly involved in his wife's business, Reshape. I spent over a year trying to get an appointment with the Dr Macasieb as did friends & people I referred to him, the staff said they scheduled me to see him but, I was always pawned off to an NP, PA or other Dr.. no one was checking my medical history or testing my lithium levels or kidney functions as is required for a prescription Dr Macasieb prescribed. One time I was there Heather Gonzalez had performed a breathing test and when the results were negative I could clearly hear her and other staff in the hallway talking and laughing about my results. I was later discharged from his office because my boyfriend went to try and get me an appointment because I was very ill & got upset when they refused. I went to a new doctor and found I was nearly in renal failure due to Dr Macasieb's lack of supervision of his staff & staff incompetence. Also after he discharged me his practice his wife's business was put under his name and changed to Vivasol. Dr Macasieb transferred all of my contact information to Reshape and Vivasol who keep texting me. 1. My information should not be sent to another business and seems to me to be a violation of HIPAA. 2. My information should not be being discussed loudly in the hallway for everyone to hear. 3. Staff refused to let me speak with Dr Macasieb concerning the matters so now it's out there for the world to see. 4. After discharging me and nearly putting me into renal failure due to incompetence why would I ever want to ever let you treat me again! I do not and will not recommend Trinity Healthcare or Dr Macasieb to anyone! And I will post this review on every site I can find to protect others from what I went thru. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Lieu's for the last 20 years. I am sorry to say I have become very disappointed with the office and the staff. Turnover, a change in the way they manage, the atmosphere has all gone downhill. Dr. Lieu doesn't seem to practice as much, thus leaving a new group who is going more towards cool sculpting than medicine. The products they are offering are not covered by insurance and is leaving a market that needs medical assistance. If this is what you are looking for, that is fine, but I need a medical facility, not a day spa, and this one is far from being a top notch one at that. read more

Went there because I heard good things. I was able to see a doctor, only a nurse practitioner. I'm still having issues, so they never got to the root of the problem. On top of that, they used a heart monitor they didn't own (outside company) I was billed $500 from this other company. Nobody from this dr office ever said it's wasn't their equipment. The doctors office is claiming I owe them $100 too! Ridiculous! They need to be upfront before they start billing you and having outside companies involved. read more

The staff here is great. Dr. Zimmer is awesome. Seriously, they manage to fit me in at the last second and work with me through the challenges my work schedule creates. For example, today, I called in at 10:00 asking if I could be fit in, I had a small window of time before leaving for another trip. I scheduled an appointment at this location in January of this year for Dr. Macasieb and showed up to 2 follow ups before I called quits for this doctor. During the appointment I feel I didn't really have the chance to express my concerns as he would continuously talk over me and cut me off when I was talking to brag about his education background and didn't address my concerns. They ran a bunch of tests that I don't feel helped my issues because he didn't listen and instead took our appointment time to talk about himself. I had concerns of being lightheaded, struggles with staying focused, and anxiety. His treatment was to recommend vitamins which I feel wasn't enough (took them for weeks and didn't realize a different) and I tried to express that but don't feel Dr. Macasieb realized how much of a struggle it is for me or cared enough to change his course of treatment for me. On top of that issue of my concerns being ignored, when I first called this location before making an appointment I wanted to make sure they would accept my insurance as I am a college student and need all the financial support I can get. They informed me they would which I was glad to hear, although after a couple of weeks in April after my appointment I was billed for $3300 worth of tests I received at the office. I called my insurance company to figure out what the issue was and they said they needed an authorization from the doctors office to proceed with covering my expenses. I contacted the office as soon as I received my bill and told them of this issue and confused as to why this wasn't done in the first place before I was billed. It felt like they didn't care enough to help out their patients with expenses and instead wanted to charge them the full amount instead of trying to help them. Therefore I immediately cancelled my future appointment with them realizing they only care about making money and giving bad treatments. They informed me I needed to call quest diagnostics for the authorization, so I called them and they referred me back to the doctors office. It's just frustrating having to call back and forth with everyone saying it's not their issue. It's July and I still have the charge on my account which is just frustrating as I was told it WOULD be covered by the office and my insurance company but I'm still waiting on a response from this office about sending an authorization although they are really difficult to leave messages for and barely pick up the phone to talk. I just want this figured out so I don't have to deal with this office anymore. I don't recommend anyone to go here, it's more of a hassle then a benefit when you make an appointment here from being charged a ridiculous amount and a doctor who wants to talk about himself instead of actually listening to the patient. read more

The fact that MANY healthcare providers from the LKN area come to this practice for their personal care says A LOT. Dr. Macasieb is a compassionate, knowledgeable diagnostician and he gets to know each patient as a person, not just a bunch of symptoms he sees infrequently. He believes in the power of western medicine AND the benefits of far eastern medicine, too. He has a holistic approach. Dr. Macasieb's PA is very sweet, very compassionate and very thorough. Dr. Zimmer has been there approx. two years and has earned the trust and respect of many local nurses & doctors as their preferred physician. He is hands-on and will do treatments most other docs leave to nurses. The practice is very large so it can take some time to get a return call from a nurse, but if it is urgent they will get back to you immediately. The waiting area is recently remodeled (some people complained it was too dated) and there is now a small play area for kiddies. The doctors here primarily treat adults and seniors but they do treat whole families, too. I've referred many people to this group and they have all raved about Macasieb and his team. PS. They now have evening and weekend hours, too! read more

My dad followed Dr. Zimmer here but now that he is gone there is absolutely no reason to keep putting up with this shoddy practice. Some of the staff are incompetent, and a few are downright rude. Dad has to call them several times to get prescriptions refilled, and today was the straw that broke the camel's back. We got stuck in traffic on 150 and wound up being 16 minutes late for his appointment. The rude lady told us she would have to get permission to go ahead with the appointment since we were later than 15 minutes from the appointment time. When we tried to tell her about the traffic, she actually put her hand up like "talk to the hand." Sure enough she said we could come later in the day or reschedule. Needless to say we left and will not be returning there. Getting him in and out of two sets of push/pull doors in a wheelchair was a pain as well. There are to many much better practices out there to consider going here again. read more

Dr Zimmer is great, but the office staff has been rude for several years now. I put up with the rude office staff and extremely long wait time because Dr Z is so knowledgeable. However, his newest nurse (about 2 weeks ago) is rude, unprofessional and snippy! I am rethinking my healthcare choice. This doctors office has gone downhill for me. I am here now in a patient/waiting room 35 minutes after my appointment time still waiting to be seen for a simple prescription refill. The PA I was seeing has left and I can honestly see why. I will be going elsewhere from now on. I hope Trinity gets back on track with putting the patients first. I also as a side note kept getting bills in the mail and had to get them to fix their billing issue due to the fact I had not owed them anything. They just have to many bumps going on lately. Visited Trinity HC for the first time last week and was blown away by how friendly the staff was; everyone from the front desk lady to Doris to Dr. Pellegrino goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. Doris and Dr. P were very thorough and actually LISTENED to me, despite so many other doctors listening for 2 minutes and then going off on their own rant. I've been to countless doctors in the last 2 years (including Novant Health professionals) and this is the first place where I actually feel truly cared about. Went back in today for blood work and was, again, met with a courteous and friendly staff. Will be referring anyone who needs quality care and a doctor who truly cares! read more

Dr Zimmer is great. But in 1.5 yrs the nurses and medical staff have NEVER returned my call or sent my script in on time and 8 out of 10 times they sent my script to a totally different pharmacy than I requested for spite. I can PROMISE you want find an overall worst staff. There are a few good nurses or staff there but overall they could care less about you. This medical center is completely unprofessional. It smelled like urine and sewage directly upon my arrival. I waited 45 minutes. I was not fully informed or had any caring interaction with the receptionist or my nurse. Dr. Lieu was very informative and helpful with what I needed. Well I have taken my grandson to this facility since he was four. It's right up the street from me so it is close. He went maybe every other year because he was rarely sick. Every time he's been there it's been for the same thing his throat. However, he is now eighteen, and very ill. This facility has not been very helpful. They took blood never got back to me on the results, I had to physically stop by the office to get the results, after calling five times. They were very sorry for the wait once I was there and explained my concern. They said they would make an appointment for him to see a cardiologist and call me with the date. That has been three weeks and counting! read more

I've been going to Dr. Lieu since before I can remember and he is the only doctor I'll ever drive an hour to see. I think his title is technically a pediatrician but being a 23 year old who very seldom goes to any healthcare setting for medical issues, I make the drive out so I can get really good quality care for those few times I need it. I'm sure my parents started taking me to him because he is one of the few, if not only, doctor in the Charlotte area who is bilingual in both korean/english AND is extremely good at doing his job. I've also gone with my dad to see a PA there, (who's name of course, I forgot) but she was also very quick and helpful. The place itself isn't new or really nice looking like some of the more expensive clinics and especially some of those associated with big names. But it's still clean, cost effective, and everyone there seems to be very caring. I highly recommend anyone to come to Trinity Health Care. read more

I give them one star for convenient hours...beyond that i have nothing nice to say. The only reason I have not switched to another practices is because changing doctors is such a pain. They have poor service, they over schedule, they are incompetent. There is only one decent doctor in the place and that is Dr. Lochridge and good luck getting an appointment with her. read more
